Say it isn't so

So it's been reported that Thiago had to drop out of the fight with Rampage because his test's were being reviewed by the Nevada State Comission. This is seriously unfortunate and I feel that if Thiago can't pull something off or prove that he did nothing wrong he may be in danger of getting cut or something. It would really suck if he did take steroids because i was a real big fan of his before. Also to @thiagosilva9794 say it isn't so!

Oh wow I didn't know he didn't even test his own urine, wow that is just stupid as hell that changes my view on it a bit.

Pretty sad he had to cheat against Vera.

I don't think the outcome wouldn've been a whole lot different in the Vera fight. I'm going to assume he had a cortizone shot or something to that nature to alleviate the pain in his back.

What this really makes me wonder is how strict some athletic comissions actually are with these tests. I mean are these guys literally staring at the fighters man pride (or lack there of) while they are pissing?

I think so too bklettke that it was possibly a shot to help heal an injury (instead of one to try to "enhance" your performance like some may do) and that steroids or not it wouldn't have changed the outcome probably Silva is a better fighter either way I think personally. Though I am glad that Brandon Vera is getting a second chance in the UFC I think he is a decent fighter, he won't be a champion in two weight classes like he says but he has only lost to top guys and had a really good close fight against Randy that I thought he may have won.
