Cage Rage On The River, Blue Water Resort & Casino- Parker, AZ

On Saturday March 31st, 2012, Joel Lopez's Ringside Promotions; known for putting on spectacular and exciting events in the state of Arizona, and The Blue Water Resort & Casino brings you the first ever MMA (mixed martial arts) Cage Fighting event to the Resort & Casino called "Cage Rage On The River", 11300 Resort Dr., Parker, AZ 85344. The Blue Water Resort and Casino; surrounded by beautiful views of the Colorado River, is a spectacular venue to host this night of excitement and showmanship of true mixed martial arts warriors.

Headlining "Cage Rage On The River" will be Jeff Fletcher from Casa Grande, AZ, who is a thrilling fighter with swift hands. He will be taking on Jose "The Peruvian Pirhana" Corpocarrero from Lake Havasu, AZ. The “Peruvian Pirhana” known to chomp down his opponents with veracity and speed is ready to face Fletcher in all-out war. The “Peruvina Pirhana” will be showcasing his fighting skills close to home and should have a very loud cheering crowd coming from nearby Lake Havasu. Also fighting on the card will be fighters Jarred “The Threat” Gordon fighting out of Kingman, AZ who at 8-3 will be taking on Lake Havasu's undefeated Tim Slater from The Arevalo Academy who's 2-0. Slater will be putting his undefeated record on the line against “The Threat” who is originally from Michigan but fights out of Kingman, AZ. Gordon said “I am ready to go to war against Slater”. Slater from The Arevalo Academy, known for great pedigree fighters and the grooming of notable MMA fighters is bringing several MMA fighters to the event who will be putting their skills to the test. Other fighters from The Arevalo Academy in Lake Havasu include: (145) Mike Sharpknack, (155) Frank Hayden and possible girl fighter Amy Rhiele. An opponent for her has yet to found.

Our co-main event will feature another exciting bout between Bill Smallwood from the Crow Nation. You won't want to miss this match up. Smallwood fighting out of Las Vegas, NV has not fought since losing to UFC fighter CB Dollaway in 2007 but is ready to make a come- back to the cage. Lujan will be making his MMA pro debut. You won’t want to miss this fight between these two Warriors from different states looking for bragging rights.

Ringside Promotions will be putting on 12 to 15 bouts for the evening with fighters traveling from surrounding areas such as Kingman, Phoenix, and as far away as Tucson, AZ, Northern California and Las Vegas. NV. In addition a special guest appearance will be announced soon. "It will be a full night of fist flying, high kicking, power punching fista cuffs between hard nosed cage warriors who like to put it all out there for the crowd.

did this casino have another name a few years ago? i used to goto laughlin nevada(right on the colorado river) and there was an indian casino nearby in arizona. same place?
