Where does tonight's submission fall under the list of the most brutal moments in MMA history?

This has got to be up there, I was amazed at Mir's submission of Tim Sylvia, I was impressed at Mir's submission of Big Nog, I was shocked by Corey Hill's leg break but I have never cringed and yelped while watching a fight until today.

Congrats to Ronda Rousey, I've never been a fan of WMMA but I definitely wanna see her fight again. If anyone's gonna save WMMA, it's her.

It depends

If you are making a distinction between Female MMA & Male MMA, I think it's #1 female MMA, but if you lump it in with the boys, more like top 5-10, which is sill saying something

ID easily put it right up there. With Mir/Nog it was brutal but I could actually watch the replays. This one had me cringing.

@mike  but was it because they are women or because it was a more crazy break?  I think Nog's break looked worse, but  a par of me if i am completely honest says this one was harder to watch because it was happening to a woman.  Like my post or not it's the truth, & in no way reflects the opinions of tapology, or it's sponsers.

I found Nog's arm break to be way more horrifying.  A bone shattering is way nastier than ligaments getting messed up.

Also much higher on the list:
- Corey Hill breaking his leg... that's WAYYYY worse and the **** nightmares are made of
- Jared Hess totally inverting/destroying his knee against Shlemenko

Mir breaking Sylvia's and Minotauro's arms were both worse. True, this looked bad, but I wouldn't even put it in the top 10 worst MMA injuries I've seen.

@Unpunished you got me there, it was a bit because theyre women. I dont know if its just me, but I never really expect anything big from WMMA fights. So when something like that happens it shocks the hell out of me. So I guess Nog/Mir was a more horrific break. Id still put this up there though for sure.

Not as bad as Nog's break...... We could all see Miesha's arm progressively get bent more and more but Nog's arm was like BAM,a huge snap and it took you half a second to realize that it was over and his arm was destroyed... I shudder to think of it....

@mike again, I don't think it's just you that's what i am saying bro, i think there are more fans that feel that way than will admit they feel tha way because, they don't want to sound sexist.  I have no problem with because i know i'm not perfect already so one more thing isn't the end of the world.

I wouldn't go that far.  Meisha Tate is much more well rounded than Art Jimmerson.

I'm not sayin Misha is Jimmerson, but that's how weak WMMA is compared to mens.

Is that not fair??

Saku vs. Renzo and Royler.  Easily on par with what Rousey did tonight.

@fresno You'll regret it. Seeing a girl with her arm broken shouldn't be fun for anybody.
