I gave the last 3 rounds to Carlos and the first 2 to Nick..........

Everyone is *****ing about him "running away", It's called a game plan.....Nick has an unbelievable chin and is a black belt in BJJ......a legit one! So if you can find a extremely entertaining way to beat Nick Diaz then I would love to see it!

Nick is an extremely exciting fighter and Carlos completely took him out of his game by fighting smart which meant backing up and chopping him down with leg kicks.....

Sucks to see Nick retire though,hopefully that was just his emotions running high

No controversy imo...it was a close fight, but Diaz definitely didn't WIN the fight, at best a draw.  Condit had the superior game-plan and landed more sig. strikes, did more damage, and ultimately walked away with the interim gold.

Diaz is pissed because Condit didn't do what everyone else does with him--let him talk s* and then engage him like he wants so he can land a ton of punches against the cage.  The first two rounds he kept putting his hands up and acting like a child until he got snap kicked in the face and all the sudden he realized he was in trouble.  Too bad, so sad.

No, Condit got the 4th. If anything, you could make the argument for Diaz taking the 3rd.

Here's what i thought. I had Nick winning 1, 2, and 5. Round two was up in the air. I'm fine with Carlos winning 48-47. I really didn't care who won, always been a fan of both. With that being said, i'm not coming on here for a while, i don't want to watch everyone sling **** at each other about this fight. Diaz haters, people talking either way about the decision. I'll give this a few days.

@Crimedawg Thanks.. I guess??

@Gastronaut yes thank you sir.

Point in case. Diaz can't expect every opponent to just come out and bang with him. First his excuse was people took him down and wrestled him. Now, he fought a guy with struck with him for 23 minutes, and avoided getting subbed and Diaz resorted to taking him down ( which is hypocritical of Diaz). Diaz flourishes on the cage, and anytime it got to the cage, Condit threw a solid leg kick and rolled out.. SMART.   I had Diaz going into this fight, and I love Diaz, but I don't see how he won.

 I had
10-9 Condit RD 1
10-9 Diaz RD 2
10-9 Condit RD3
10-9 Condit RD 4
10-9 Diaz Rd 5

Diaz was the only one to shoot. Clearly he thought Condit was winning the standup. No reason to say this was controversial.

I'd like to point out, like Nik did, that Diaz tried "that gay wrestling ****" before Condit. Diaz was getting flustered because he couldn't impose his will like he does in every other fight. Kudos to Condit for not letting Diaz' taunting trick him into playing his game. Also, Diaz stopped that stuff after a firm kick to the head.

I had Diaz winning 1, 2 and 5.

At the end of the day, I'm not Nick Diaz's biggest fan and I've got nothing really against Condit.  I just hope Condit smashes GSP.

@Crimedawg yes seriously he didn't retire from strikeforce because they threw more money at him, which is what he wanted. Now he doesn't want to fight anymore, so you tell me what do you offer someone to continue fighting whose heart isn't in it anymore? You don't have to believe him, and can chalk it up to emotion after a loss if you want to, but don't be surprised when we hear it announced later, he is officially retired.  If we can agree on one thing it should be Nick Diaz is a different breed, and certainly different from the names you mentioned. If he says it he means it.
