I never got the chance to watch the Jasmine Jasudavicious and Miranda Maverick fight.  Looking at the stats on the UFC stats official site, did Miranda get her takedowns stuffed or did she not even try to go for TDs?

We all know Tracy Cortez is going to grapple, what is Jasmine's TD defense like?

Reed might not be a terrible underdog.

You've gotta be loopy to bet on Loopy at -500. She's unreliable enough that she might just keep the fight on the feet where Reed has a decent chance

I thnk Miranda tried like 2 ****** takedowns that got stuffed. According to Maverick she had eye issues going into the last fight, so that at least partly excuses the poor performance

Fair enough that would at least be rational if ever giving an MMA fighter 99% could be considered rational, let alone a WMMA UFC debutante.

She went for really ****** TDs sitting down trying to drag Jazzy across her own body. Basically what she did would only have worked on someone half the size of Jazzy and Jazzy easilly reversed it and just lay on her in the top position.
Maverick basically used all strength and Jazzy was more relaxed and then Maverick gassed and Jazzy took over in the otherwise even striking match. That pretty much sums it up.

Cortez is another beast if you ask me, her montage of take downs could be used as a complete instructional video to show all the possible ways to take someone down, body lock hip throws, trips inside or outside, treetopping, switching between doubles and singles on the cage etc. Cortez cardio also looks phenomenal to me. She went 15 gruelling minutes with Gatto of nonstop grappling and didn't even look winded afterwards.

I will acknowledge that matchup wise it's a good stylistic matchup for Jazzy with being the slightly bigger girl who might have the striking advantage (though I think Cortez moves better and she incorporate leg kicks of which Jazzy uses very few), and who would then only need to use her physicality and decent TDD to keep it standing.

I have Cortez though, got her at -107, I think she should be favored at least 60/40 still on pure talent. She's got both the skills and physicality of her own.

Thanks for the info guys.  Both Loopy and Cortez should be locks and it fits the theme of Mexican independence day with both women having Mexican heritage but damn women's MMA is always a bunch of BS.

Well you don't have to lay -500 on Cortez, she's still -125 or better. That's a line that will let you sleep at night.

Where is that cow animal? Hasn't shown his spotty butt on here has he?

Told him to drop his picks here if he wanted a challenge. Not a humm since then. Dissapeared. Not to be seen.

Stupid cow.

I respect your opinion but I completely have to disagree with you.

A lot of people on here are going to avoid bets on this card because they are chalky. Personally I think this card is great for betting and parlays

I'm not avoiding bets on this card, I have Grasso, JDM and Cortez so far. I'm in no hurry to add -500 lines to the lineup.

I think Holland takes it also

He has good grappling, good stand-up, and has never been knocked out. I think sometimes we put too much into a fighter who shows strong power in their hands, but I see Holland as the more well rounded fighter and the guy fights A LOT.

I think a lot of people looking past 8 inch reach advantage for Holland. He doesn’t fight behind a consistent jab but he knows how to use his range well. Jack clearly has incredible boxing but I feel like he’s really going to struggle to find his way inside against Holland without eating some bombs.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 7 of 11 Winners, 3 Perfect, 465 Points   |   Tied for 2019th

Grasso vs. Shevchenko II
Valentina Shevchenko, DEC
same fight as before without the rnc valentina wins

Holland vs. Maddalena
Jack Della Maddalena, TKO, R2
i actually see holland having success until jdm gets him against the fence and unleashes those combos mixing the shots to kevins body and dropping him with the ref jumping in cause kevins getting pounded on the ground

Rosas Jr. vs. Mitchell
Terrence Mitchell, TKO, R1
biggest upset on the card i think Rosas is a can now dont get me wrong so is mitchell but mitchells biggest problem is his chin im not worried about rosas getting a ko sage northcutt moment incoming

Zellhuber vs. Giagos
Christos Giagos, DEC
another fighter i dont fully trust is zellhuber giagos only loses to really good comp and fundamentally hes a solid fighter doesnt excel anywhere i think he can use his veteran skills to grind out a decision win

Padilla vs. Nelson
Kyle Nelson, DEC
idk what im honestly thinking here other then i still dont trust padilla and nelson has the experience

Godinez vs. Reed
Lupita Godinez, DEC
i expect loopy to make this fight 10X closer then it should be watch her keep the majority of this fight on the feet lol

Kopylov vs. Fremd
Roman Kopylov, TKO, R3
setup fight for kopylov here i think the ufc sees that fremd is a can just look at his fight for pickett kopylov ia going to beat him down till the ref stops it

Cháirez vs. Lacerda
Daniel Lacerda, TKO, R1
Lacerda is being given one last chance and i think an aggressive guy like edgar might be the perfect person lacerda hits hard but has no chin and death gasses maybe we get a crazy highlight finish

Cortez vs. Jasudavicius
Tracy Cortez, DEC
very similar fighters on the feet id actually edge Jasmine but i think cortez will land the takedowns and have more control time winning her a split decision

Campbell vs. Reyes
Charlie Campbell, TKO, R1
Campbell is new so not much on him other then aggressive striker who can get clipped now reyes hasnt fought in 5 years beat nothing but cans his whole career and then got some kind of injury after the perry loss sidelining him for 5 years this seems like a ko win for campbell

Knutsson vs. Mann
Josefine Knutsson, TKO, R2
knutsson seems to be a legit kickboxer and shes getting a way easier fight then Lucindo now i think she really puts her striking to use in this one idk much about mann other then the brasil fight where she got dropped pretty badly
