Does anyone know if Delija didn’t take part in the 1st half of the regular season due to an injury?

Yep he was injured earlier. Still got a great chance of getting through to the semis though since Bruno (6 points) and Rizvan (3 points) are now both out

Hahaha nah that I just got from googling his name. Couldn't find what the injury was, just said he pulled out. The drug scandal I may or may not have been told by someone within the PFL... 👀

Pacheco vs. Leibrock
Larissa Pacheco, TKO, R2
Pacheco is going to be featherweight champ too

Ali Walsh vs. Miller
Biaggio Ali Walsh, TKO, R1
Guaranteed 1st round KO

Ladd vs. Sobek
Karolina Sobek, SUB, R2
Ladd hasn't been looking like she is enjoying herself in the last few fights, I feel that she's mentally drained

Budd vs. Jindrová
Martina Jindrová, DEC
Budd might be on the market again when she loses this one

Pinson vs. Freeman
Denzel Freeman, TKO, R2
Not very confident in my pick since both guys haven't faced any real competition. A guy that is 3-18 for your 1st fight isn't good competition

Predictions: 7 of 12 Winners, 6 Perfect, 600 Points   |   507th Place

Delija vs. Greene
Ante Delija, TKO, R2
Delija vs goltsov gonna go hard in the finals

Pacheco vs. Leibrock
Larissa Pacheco, TKO, R1
This is a mismatch but should be a banger for as long as it lasts. Larissa is all violence & leibrock is kill or be killed. She’s getting killed here tho

Ali Walsh vs. Miller
Travell Miller, SUB, R1
Hmmm idk about this one. Maybe I’m just a hater but I’m really tired of the Ali walsh experiment. I don’t really think this kid is any good & would be a nobody if he wasn’t related to Ali. His hands look sharp, but he’s also fighting people pfl pulls off the street. They’re doing the same thing, except this guy isn’t 40, never been finished, and has an RNC on his record. I’m picking him to win, but wouldn’t shock me if pfl is gonna pay him to either throw, or not shoot a td. All he needs is one because Ali has 0 grappling

Ladd vs. Sobek
Aspen Ladd, DEC
This one is tough. Ladd is so **** & the timid Ladd that used to be in the ufc finally showed up in her last fight. Sobek is probably a better fighter, but I think she’s too green

Ferreira vs. Scheffel
Renan Ferreira, TKO, R1
Ferriera is such a ******* disappointment. You watch his highlights and see this massive dude with insane speed and one punch ko power. Then, you watch him fight someone with a pulse & he falls apart at the seams very quickly. No tdd or grappling & once you get him down he stays down. Luckily for him, scheffel is a striker, and a **** one at that. I can’t believe he was even able to make it to the championship. He’s such a chinlet, should be an easy ko for renan

Brady vs. Heiderman
Patrick Brady, SUB, R2
What in the LFA is this matchmaking. Brady is 37 and a can crusher. Heiderman isn’t much better, but he’s switched to a real gym (factoryx) so that’s something. His striking isn’t good but I expect him to have the advantage over an old man

Goltsov vs. De Castro
Denis Goltsov, TKO, R1
With all of these cancellations, this season is goltsov’s to take. Yorgan is a fat can. Denis by however he wants

Mokhnatkina vs. Martins
Evelyn Martins, DEC
Definitely one of the more interesting matchups pfl has put together. Marina is a high level Sambist, but her overall mma game is lacking. She has pretty poor striking. Martins is someone who I think is a stud. She’s only 20 and yet fights with a lot of composure. She’s also just the more well rounded fighter

Marques vs. Nunes
Danilo Marques, SUB, R2
Genuinely cannot believe I’m picking marques to win a fight, but man nunes is absolute trash. He’s got a high level bjj game, but nothing else. His showing against greene was just pathetic. He doesn’t know how to wrestle & has one round of gas. Marques is **** but he’s slightly better not having to cut weight. He wins by being the better fighter (really can’t believe I’m saying that)

Budd vs. Jindrová
Julia Budd, DEC
Hmm this one is pretty tough. I always thought jindrova was decent, just had an ugly record due to inexperience & being matched against girls better than her. But, then she gets starched by Leibrok who is just a bad fighter. Man that was such a bad look. Budd on the other hand is also really washed. She’s still got some gas in the tank but clearly isn’t who she used to be. She’s a better fighter than jindrova and can wrestle her if she gets hurt

Kolesnyk vs. Higashi
Olena Kolesnyk, DEC
Kolesnyk is unbeliably ****, but I can’t pick the Japanese grandma over her

Pinson vs. Freeman
Denzel Freeman, TKO, R1
Iirc, pinson was able to beat resende by wrestling. Well, good luck wrestling a guy who wrestles for the marines. Freeman is actually a pretty excring guy. Happy pfl got him

Travell Miller

Predictions: 5 of 5 Winners, 3 Perfect, 390 Points   |   886th Place

In case anyone cares, I studied 3 fights on Travell Miller

‘Supposedly a Muy Thai fighter’
Very planted/stationary & has his hands up but nearly no head movement. When facing any jab, straight or calve kick, just absorbed them it as though he couldn’t react in time.

His output volume is very low & throws 1st with mostly one strike at a time (rarely was there a 2 attack combo). Additionally, most strikes seemed ‘meh’, not having too much power behind them. His rare TDAs are uneducated & I’ve seen him mauled to exhaustion by round 2 in amateurs.

I take watching tape on opponents of my picks very seriously, even if they are 'bums'. If you are serious about Sharp Betting it is imperative that you leave no stone unturned

Delija vs. Greene
Ante Delija, TKO, R1
Can you imagine the winner of this heavyweight bouillabaisse fighting Francis Ngannou ? Both Greene and De Castro lost to wallmart employe of the month Greg Hardy, and while Delija and Golstov are pretty decent fighters, they are just uncharismatic unknowns to the mainstream viewer... I really hope they can sign a BIG name before next year, even if it's a rematch vs Overeem (Alistair actually looked great in the Badr Hari fight, and he was still competitive in the top 10 when he left the UFC, plus the reamtch can't be worst than the original for him). Ben Rothwell or Werdum would also be some decent options, but man. What a waste of a career for Ngannou, in terms of legacy.

Predictions: 9 of 12 Winners, 5 Perfect, 640 Points   |   Tied for 370th

Delija vs. Greene
Ante Delija, TKO, R1
This one should be easy, although Greene could get an upset here.

Pacheco vs. Leibrock
Larissa Pacheco, TKO, R2
Pacheco gets a 2nd round finish, too early for Leibrock to face this type of competition.

Ali Walsh vs. Miller
Biaggio Ali Walsh, TKO, R1
Walsh has a lot of potential, love the kid.

Ladd vs. Sobek
Aspen Ladd, DEC
Ladd gets it done easily.

Ferreira vs. Scheffel
Matheus Scheffel, TKO, R1
BUFFA!!!

Brady vs. Heiderman
Jordan Heiderman, SUB, R2
Love Heiderman, he will easily beat this can crusher.

Goltsov vs. De Castro
Denis Goltsov, TKO, R1
Yorgan gets smothered and GNPd in Round 1.

Mokhnatkina vs. Martins
Marina Mokhnatkina, DEC
Too early of a jump in competition for Martins. Marina should win a UD.

Marques vs. Nunes
Danilo Marques, SUB, R2
Marques should outwrestle him then RNC him in round 2.

Budd vs. Jindrová
Martina Jindrová, DEC
Budd is 39 and washed. Jindrova has also faced better competition over her last few fights.

Kolesnyk vs. Higashi
Olena Kolesnyk, DEC
Ehh, this fight is closer than people think

Pinson vs. Freeman
Isaiah Pinson, DEC
How is everyone picking Freeman? He's a can crusher. Combined record of all the opponents he beat is 7-6.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 3 of 5 Winners, 0 Perfect, 150 Points   |   Tied for 1004th

Delija vs. Greene
Ante Delija, TKO, R3
Considering their respective skill sets and recent performances, Ante Delija appears to have the advantage in this matchup. His strong wrestling, powerful striking, and ability to wear down opponents make him a formidable force in the heavyweight division. Maurice Greene's vulnerabilities on the ground and inconsistency in his performances suggest that Delija has a higher likelihood of securing a victory. Furthermore, Delija's recent winning streak and momentum contribute to the prediction of him winning this fight. It is anticipated that Delija will showcase his skills, control the fight, and ultimately secure a third-round TKO victory over Maurice Greene.

Ferreira vs. Scheffel
Matheus Scheffel, TKO, R2
Based on their previous performances and stylistic matchups, it is predicted that Scheffel will dominate the fight, potentially landing a clean shot that rocks Ferreira before securing a TKO victory in the second round.

Brady vs. Heiderman
Jordan Heiderman, SUB, R2
Considering Heiderman's wrestling background, it is likely that he will be able to utilize his superior grappling skills to take Brady to the ground and control the fight. The prediction suggests that Heiderman will secure a submission victory, possibly by utilizing his chokes or other submission techniques in the second round.

Goltsov vs. De Castro
Denis Goltsov, DEC
Considering Goltsov's dominance in regional promotions, previous successes in PFL, and his ability to control the fight on the ground, it is likely that he will implement a game plan that utilizes his grappling skills to smother De Castro and secure a unanimous decision victory.

Marques vs. Nunes
Danilo Marques, SUB, R2
With his grappling prowess and ability to avoid his opponent's attacks, he is likely to find an opportunity to secure a submission victory in the second round against Marcelo Nunes, who has a history of struggling against larger opponents and gassing out in fights.

Pacheco Looked rough in her last fight, but she's still the younger and faster fighter.

Ferreira vs. Scheffel
Renan Ferreira, TKO, R2
Matchmakers have done Ferreira dirty for the last 2 years. His striking is filthy for a heavyweight.

Goltsov vs. De Castro

De Castros got a punchers chance, but Golstov is going to drown him.
