Could be another early fight of the Year contender here. Figueroa has become 1 of my favourite action fighters over the past few years. Don't let the pretty boy looks and "Heartbreaker" nickname fool you, Brandon is a DOG!!!!! He's all about pressure, pressure, pressure!!! He's amongst the highest punches thrown per round of any Championship level boxer. Magsayo has some power and is a decent boxer. But in my opinion Figueroa breaks him down, beats up the body and takes over after the half way point. Magsayo has slowed late in fights before too, I think that the late round stoppage(10-12) for Figueroa is possible
Hurd vs. Resendiz

Hurd was the man at 154lbs a few years back, Unified Champion with a big fight vs Charlo on the radar. He's fell off pretty bad since, apparently some personal issues, he's had a long break and is saying all the right things. Won't know until he gets into the ring for sure so I wouldn't bet him too big. But if he's anywhere near his peak he will have no issues with Resendiz, unless Resendiz has improved massively!
Vidal vs. Garcia

Good fight. Great to see 2 young undefeated prospects face off. I'm more impressed with Garcia, last time I seen Vidal on Showtime vs Aleem I thought he lost fairly clearly. Garcia has blasted through everyone so far, this is a step up but I think he has no issues here. Another possible late stoppage

Lame New Predictions

I am enamored with Terrell Gausha at -500. He has a delusional powerbomb and a final dim mak. Gausha ought to scramble the production. Sure thing!
Gogokhia vs. Teah
I take Enriko Gogokhia at -325. He has a natural hiza guruma. Gogokhia is gonna prevent the previous pitfalls.
DeLoach vs. Marshall
I am going with Travon Marshall at -450. He has a quixotic dragon sleeper. Marshall is about to modulate the TV audience.
Figueroa vs. Magsayo
I am taking Brandon Figueroa at -275. He has a yellow-bellied hammerlock and a militant mounted elbow drop. Figueroa isn't about to yank the unthinkable.
Hurd vs. Resendiz
I can't get enough of Jarrett Hurd at -450. He has an excellent counter left. Hurd might tackle the production.

People put those stupid labels that "pretty boys can't fight" but Brandon Figueroa is a monster: good power puncher and surgical work with body shots. Magsayo is a tough guy and although he was lucky that Gary Russell Jr. went through his worst personal and injury moments, for me he deserved more on the Scorecards against Vargas. What is certain is that Vargas does not want to fight Figueroa as soon as it was mentioned to him that Brandon was the mandatory challenger, he sought revenge against Magsayo or move up in weight. Vargas doesn't want anything with ''Heartbreaker'' because it's a power puncher and he can't take advantage of reach or height. I expect one of those fights where both go to clash and Figueroa loves to fight in the short distance just like Magsayo. ''Pollito'' Ceja dropped Magsayo in the past with a punch to the body, if Figueroa works the midsection from the start I think in the seventh he will get the stoppage by body shots.
Hurd vs. Resendiz

Hurd is that kind of boxer that if they don't get the right punch or the good combo the rounds become complicated and their best years seem to be in the past. He clearly lost his last fight and although he is the favorite if he does not get the KO it would not seem strange to me that the scorecards for Hurd get complicated.
