Looks like Santos lost thos one. Thought his experience and power will get him W here and a finish. But man Wilkinson is tough and great strategy. Thiagos takedown defense is ehh

29-28 Wilkinson, Wilkinson's timing on those takedowns won him the fight but he had to work hard to secure those TDs
Could be 30-27 Wilkinson but Santos landed harder and better in r3. Though Wilkinson landed some nice straights

The thing with Santos is he had a kid lately with his wife and fellow fighter Yana Kunitskaya, and I read studies that prove after you have a kid and family your body lowers its testosterone as a means to accommodate for a family, like so your not be so hyped up, its just science/biology... Obviously there have been many great fighters who had families and won fights regardless, but you have to train harder, more effort and overcome it... At 39 with testosterone going down every year since 30, it just gets more difficult

I have never in my life as a mma fan seen so many decisions in any mma promotion before. PFL is different. I think that Milly on the line makes them fight way more careful thus not taking any risks

I get your point, but for Thiago should be different though. He saw his wife getting dominated by Holm last weekend. I thought he'd come in thinking that this tournament is the best deal to settle his family financially speaking (and not needing his wife to get back to the octagon again). 

I'd love to see winning the one million, but I hardly doubt he'll get it done.

He also made over 800k in his career so I guess he has a house in Florida maybe Brazil too paid off
