Prediction Comments

Predictions: 7 of 14 Winners, 2 Perfect, 400 Points   |   Tied for 2365th

Holloway vs. Allen
Max Holloway, DEC
okay im not understanding how people think allen wins holloway is going to outstrike allen for 4 rounds allens only chance is in the first and honestly i dont think holloway lost his chin i just think he lost to the best version of volk we had ever seen allen gasses almost eevry fight and doesnt have a high range of volume i cant see him holding holloway down either so i think this fight clearly goes to max and at these odds i have to lock him in

Barboza vs. Quarantillo
Billy Quarantillo, TKO, R3
great scrap i think billy gets beat pretty badly in the first but does what he does and breaks his opponent edson is pretty fragile at this point in his career and even though billy lost to shane and edson beat shane mma math doesnt work and that was practically 2 years ago i would lock in billy at very good odds considering barboza is on his way out

Jacoby vs. Murzakanov
Azamat Murzakanov, DEC
jacoby is very good and should win but azamat just seems to always close the show so i will not bet against him on top of that i think he has more power patience and the better wrestling if he uses it

Cutelaba vs. Boser
Ion Cutelaba, TKO, R1
honestly ill take cutelaba against anyone that isnt high level ions biggest problem is his iq he fights like he has the brain of a 2 year old however boser doesnt have the best chin (its not bad) and he doesnt have good takedown defense

Munhoz vs. Gutierrez
Chris Gutierrez, TKO, R2
chris G is my main parlay piece pedro is old and this is very much a out with the old in with the new fight chris is going to pick pedro apart at range and eventually catch pedro with a really hard shot putting him down with some follow up shots chris moves up in the rankings i would bet chris by ko or just ML add to parlay

Guida vs. García
Rafa García, DEC
i always stay away from guida fights as he comes back out of no where rafa isnt a known finisher so i dont see him gassing himself out going for the finish he honestly should win a 30/27

Brown vs. Algeo
Bill Algeo, SUB, R2
wouldnt be shocked if brown pulls this off but ill take algeo because he has relentless cardio and if the majority of this one stays on the feet algeo will light up brown with light shots

Royval vs. Nicolau
Matheus Nicolau, SUB, R2
BANGER nicolau is at great money here royval might be my fav fighter on the roster but hes too explossive and overzealous for a guy like nicolau, expect nicolau to capitalize on a sloppy mistake from royval and either bash his head in on the mat or find the choke take nicolau at very good odds in a great fight

Herman vs. Cummings
Zak Cummings, DEC
2 old farts wont be suprised if herman wins with everything i heard about cummings

Rodriguez vs. Robertson
Piera Rodriguez, DEC
50 50 and all the question is can gillian drag piera down i honestly think gillian will gas and get her ass beat for 15 maybe even a 3rd round stoppage

Vannata vs. Zellhuber
Daniel Zellhuber, DEC
fun fight both guys **** the bed last time out especially zellhuber im going to call that octagon jitters and im expecting him to walk away with the w in a close standup fight maybe zelllhuber can have some moments on the mat i see this going the distance tho stay away from this one unless ur straight betting

Brasil vs. Gomes
Bruna Brasil, DEC
brasil should easily win this fight gomes is strong but sloppy and finds herself rushing in quite often bruna will pick her apart from the range and get the UD i would still stay away as its wmma

Bolaños vs. Phillips
Gaston Bolaños, TKO, R1
i dont remember phillips at all but this seems like a gaston ko written all over it still would stay away as gaston could be an absolute bum

Edwards vs. Pudilová
Joselyne Edwards, DEC
idk how i feel about this fight im going to take edwards because she has more ufc experience and lucies last win was against an absolute can would not bet this fight

I don't think Zellhuber is a fraud, I think he more young and need experience, Having a loss like he did against Ogden isn't the worst thing in the world because he know he **** up, I doubt he make that mistake again, And losing at a young age, Only means improvements

I don't mind the odds on Zeelhuber at even odds because I don't think much of Vanita even tho losing to Ogdan is giving me pause on doing so

Also, i don't fault anyone taking dogs odds on Women MMA so I'm not going to fault anyone betting Gomes(or even Edwards), Underdogs wins all the time in WMMA, And even the favorites are mostly winning close fight which could easily gone the other way, I'm most likely going to bet at least one, I love + money in WMMA

You don't have to bet the underdogs, I just recommended not betting WMMA favourtes, Like for example, I warned everyone to not put Anorum in parleys for this reason last week

No he is absolutely a fraud. And he is going to get exposed very very soon. I hope Lando is the one to do it.

The UFC is pushing him because he is Mexican but he is not that good at all.

MAIN EVENT HANDICAPS

Predictions: 7 of 14 Winners, 1 Perfect, 390 Points   |   Tied for 2572nd

Holloway vs. Allen
Score
Holloway: 30    Allen: 61
Holloway does not check kicks and Allen's kicks are BRUTAL.  Holloway has extensive scar damage and while he's one of the best boxers in the UFC, he stays one dimensional by relying on his superior boxing, negating his muay thai and his bjj brown belt.  Allen hasn't lost since 2014.
Allen by Dec.

Barboza vs. Quarantillo
Score
Barboza: 27    Quarantillo: 59
Barboza is coming off a long layoff after a loss to Bryce Mitchell.  In fact, Barboza has lost 7 of his last 10 fights.  Quarantillo is difficult to finish, So Barboza will have to outstrike Quarantillo.  Quarantillo's head movement and footwork are good enough to avoid Barboza's deadly kicks, and this game has taken too much from him.
Quarantillo by TKO rd 3.

Jacoby vs. Murzakanov
Score
Jacoby: 27    Murzakanov: 45
Jacoby is facing a southpaw Russian sambo wrestler who has better striking output and accuracy, better strike defense and coming off a win over Devin Clark via TKO.  Murzakanov's finish rate is 83% and he's never been finished, so Jacoby will have to avoid the KO while outpointing Murzakanov.  Jacoby keeps his head too stationary, and he stands flat footed at times.  Jacoby had some issues with his feet/legs last fight and maybe he's coming back too quickly.
Murzakanov by TKO rd 2.

Boser vs. Cutelaba
Score
Boser: 22    Cutelaba: 30
Ugh, this fight is going to be sloppy and ugly.  Boser is strictly karate, no takedowns in his game - at all.  That being said, Boser's has horrible head movement and horrible footwork.  He is also moving DOWN to light heavyweight.  Cutelaba is kill or be killed mentality, with 88% of his wins coming by finish and 77% of his losses coming by finish as well. Cutelaba has struggled against tough opponents, especially as of late, but Boser has never really found success in the UFC.
Cutelaba by Dec.

Munhoz vs. Gutierrez
Score
Munhoz: 22    Gutierrez: 53
Gutierrez has an advantage almost everywhere inside the octagon, unless it hits the mat.  There Munhoz can hope to secure a submission.  But Munhoz likes to stand and bang, which will not go well for him, as he has a propensity to absorb leg kicks rather than check them.  Gutierrez has some of the NASTIEST leg kicks in the business, and Munhoz's footwork is not good enough to evade them all.  Munhoz keeps is head on a center line as swell, leaving him open to getting hit.  Both fighters are as durable as they come, but the leg kicks will be the difference.
Gutierrez by Dec.

Guida vs. Garcia
Score
Guida: 22    Garcia: 31
I love to see Clay Guida mixing it up at 41 years old.  He's got 60 pro fights and while he only has a bjj white belt, he submitted Leonardo Santos (decorated bjj black belt) via RNC.  Impressive to say the least.  But that's not new to Guida who has won 14 of his fights by submission.  But Rafa is tough - he's never been submitted and he's as scrappy a wrestler as Guida with even MORE takedown attempts per fight.  Rafa did sustain a nasty cut his last fight, hope that doesn't become a problem.  This is going to be a grind, but I think Garcia can weather Guida's grappling transitions with his own wrestling and with his strike output.
Garcia by Dec.

**** that, you think Max is gonna lose to some steroid monkey, he's gonna piece Arnold up, this isn't Arnold's fight, Arnold would have been finished by Volk. Max will put on a clinic, he's been hit harder, fought the better competition, and he's only 31. Don't write him off just yet.

I have been following Allen from his last choke against Burnell. Impressive. Going forward - even better.

But people, this will be Arnold's second 5 rounder (first one was his previous one against Kattar which ended in very R2 due injury) meanwhile Max has been doing them from '16 non-stop. Four KO's in 4 years straight pretty much. From 2018 there's only decision fights, 7 fights - 175 minutes.

Maybe. Only maybe there's a chance that Allen will break Max chin finally, but I don't believe that.
