Not many people talking about this fight but trust me, this fight will be well worth watching! Ponce is an offensive volume punching cardio machine. Matias is a Destroyer!!!!! Matías is on my All Violence Team alongside Beterbiev, Benavidez and Bronco Lara. Matias isn't a 1 punch KO guy, he beats you up, breaks you down and makes you quit! Ponce is no mug, anyone who is 30-0 out of Argentina is tough AF! I think Ponce will likely win the early rounds, will be out landing Matias and be ahead on the cards. But none of that will matter as Matias will be doing damage and as the fight goes into the late rounds that damage will increase and start to break Ponce down. Late stoppage for Matías, sometime after the 10th he retires on the stool or his corner throws in the towel
James vs. Palmetta

Beto Palmetta the Argentine Olympian gets the minor upset vs former fringe contender James. Jamal took a lot of punishment vs Butaev, I think that shows and the younger, fresher fighter wins by Decision. Maybe James retires?
Rodriguez vs. Adorno

Remember in 2020 at the start of the ESPN Top Rank "Bubble" Lockdown shows when Elvis was knocking fools out for fun!!! 1 of the hottest prospects in boxing at the time, 1 loss and all of a sudden Top Rank drops him and he's almost written off!!! Crazy!!!! Well, he's picked up a couple of nice stoppage wins against good opponents since then. Adorno was also a Top Rank prospect a few years ago, he had some issues with weight and gassed out vs journeymen a few times so he was also let go by Top Rank. Adorno has some nice boxing skills but he still has the cardio issue. I think we should have a good, competitive fight for the first half of the fight, Adorno tires and Elvis stops him.

Ponce was flat out exhausted and didn't look like he was going to last much longer, he was staggering throughout round 5. It was only going to get worse for him
