when you're picking a fight, you gotta think of why the ufc decided to book these 2 guys together and who the A side is

there's certain guys the ufc likes and a lot of the time they give them freebies and spots to shine in

tucker lutz is one of those guys and this is most definitely a very favorable booking for him constructed for a dominant win by the ufc machine

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 6 of 10 Winners, 4 Perfect, 440 Points   |   Tied for 1352nd

Vera vs. Sandhagen
Marlon Vera, DEC
Dec 48-47x3, 49-46 UNI. This has the possibility to be an all-time great fight. Vera shows up and chops Sandhagens legs down over the course of the first 3 rounds, which starts to substantially slow Sandhagen down. The footwork is very effective for Cory in the first 2 rounds. The third round is where this fight starts to shift, and Cory starts being less flashy, shifty and more of an easy target. Vera starts going to work here, out pointing and landing strong power punches on CS. This fight features slugfest moments... But it's clear who gets the best of them. Vera striking starts to really show up on CS in the late 4th and 5th round. CS looks battered and trying to emulate his early round self, but Vera is fresh and looks like he can go another 6th round. Dominant 5th round solidifiers.

Holm vs. Santos
Holly Holm, DEC
I'll go 30-26x2 30-27. I think Holm has a game that frustrates Yana K--(She got married?!), anyways, I think Yana will try to get close but gets punished, and when they clinch Holms strength is vastly superior

Landwehr vs. Lingo
Nate Landwehr, TKO, R2
TKO round 2, punches to GnP. The Train comes out ready to bang, a counter hook lands in a slugfest, put Lingo on a knee. Landwehr jumps on him, and starts landing bombs, Lingo turns over. Ref jumps in.

Lee vs. Barber
Maycee Barber, DEC
30-27, 29-28, 27-30 Split Decision. This fight stays competitive for the duration but Maycee makes more dominant positional plays, and better octagonal pressure.

Perez vs. Kape
Manel Kape, TKO, R3
Early 3rd TKO, punches. I think Alex' layoff will not mix well with the power and pressure-ability of Kape. Kape downs him eventually.

Njokuani vs. Duraev
Chidi Njokuani, DEC
29-28x2 30-27 Uni. Chidi stays on the outside, sticks and moves, and counters well. Duraev gets punished on the way in.

Pineda vs. Lutz
Tucker Lutz, DEC
30-27x3 Uni.

Peterson vs. Alexander
Steven Peterson, DEC
29-28 uni. I think Peterson walks through Lucas, picking him apart although I think he loses a scary, scary round.

Giles vs. Parsons
Trevin Giles, DEC
29-28x2 28-29 Split Decision, very grueling fight and both fighters look solid. Giles cardio is able to keep up in the cut.

Vergara vs. da Silva
CJ Vergara, TKO, R2
Huge Kick hurts DDS, Crumbles a bit, Verg just keeps on him with solid GnP ref steps in. I just don't know how one makes this fight and that's what scares me. If Vergara is in parlays hedge small on Da Silva, somethings fishy.

Salvador vs. Altamirano
Victor Altamirano, SUB, R2
Submission Guillotine, both fighters looked horrendous on scale. Victor fights better fighters all the time.

As far as I know Yana fought pregnant in her last fight. She announced pregnancy in august about a month after her fight in july 2021 and had a visible tummy at that point.
Did a quick google search which came up with:

"When do you start showing in pregnancy? For first-time pregnancies, the baby bump may appear during the second trimester, at 12–16 weeks. Those with a narrow body frame and little fat tend to show sooner." ... "For those who’ve been pregnant before, their baby belly can pop in the first trimester. "

I think she already had a kid and she doesn't have much body fat so.

What would you do as a fighter if you knew your opponent was pregnant? Target the body more? My god this is a disturbing sport sometimes.

They might not run pregnancy tests consistently on fighters. Fighters might be expected to want to do control that stuff on their own. I wonder if someone ****** up or if that was a an oversight they will now have to correct to protect these psychos.

Yeah I don't know. You'd figure it would have a huge impact on hormones but then again there's so much you can test for and I'm sure they have budget and time constraints.
And after all the main point of testing even when it comes to the USADA is to put up a clean facade. The UFC doesn't really give a **** if fighters are on PEDs as long as they don't advertise it and make the company look bad. THere's some serious corruption in that area as well when it comes to star fighters as we've seen on several occasions from Lesnar to  Jon Jones to McGregor being the latest controversy I'm aware of.

So I looked into it further and Yana gave birth on 5 april 2022, her last fight was July 10th 2021 so she got pregnant right around the time she fought, might have been just days after or days before. Unless the pregnancy deviated a lot from the norm.

Vera vs. Sandhagen
Cory Sandhagen, DEC
I think Chito is super durable. But I think Cory is technically and tactically better. If there is any way that Chito beats Sandhagen, it's by testing Sandhagen's durability. Chito doesn't have wrestling, so he is just going to strike like usual. Which really isn't enough for a guy like Sandhagen. And that is why I am choosing Sandhagen to win.

Landwehr vs. Lingo
Nate Landwehr, SUB
Landwehr by resilience

Perez vs. Kape
Manel Kape, DEC
Kape has been on a roll lately

Njokuani vs. Duraev
Chidi Njokuani, TKO, R2
Chidi will win if he doesn't get wrestled to the point of exhaustion

Pineda vs. Lutz
Tucker Lutz
Pineda is old

Vergara vs. da Silva
CJ Vergara, TKO, R1
Vergara unless Silva has gotten magically better which is highly unlikely

Salvador vs. Altamirano
Victor Altamirano
Altamirano is a dog, I like his chances here

Ultimate New Predictions

Predictions: 5 of 8 Winners, 3 Perfect, 325 Points   |   Tied for 3277th

Pineda vs. Lutz
I am obsessed with Tucker Lutz at -250. He has a digital high kick and an exotic spinning back elbow. Lutz must kick the opposition.

Vergara vs. da Silva
I want CJ Vergara at -295. He has a trendy fight IQ and a creative counter left. Vergara should unseat the victory.

Landwehr vs. Lingo
I am with Nate Landwehr at -270. He has a radical ground and pound. Landwehr isn't about to tackle the cake.

Peterson vs. Alexander
I believe in Steven Peterson at -175. He has an automatic crescent kick and an amazing dragon sleeper and also a wacky elevator hook sweep. Peterson must embarass the crowd noise. Never fails!

Njokuani vs. Duraev
I have got Chidi Njokuani at -195. He has a twisted overhand. Njokuani is gonna modulate the victory. Bank on it!

Lee vs. Barber
I have got Maycee Barber at -210. She has a reliable ouchi gaeshi. Barber shall tackle the cycle.

Holm vs. Santos
I trust Holly Holm at -210. She has a twisted randleplex and a nasty mindset. Holm might fight the canvas.

Vera vs. Sandhagen
I go for Cory Sandhagen at -160. He has a qualified head coach and a gauche attitude. Sandhagen isn't about to drop the rival.

Perez vs. Kape
I feel disposed to Manel Kape at -230. He has an amoral clawhold. Kape is about to captivate the production.

"This is the droid you're looking for."
