Edwards vs. Usman III
Leon Edwards, TKO, R4
Usman's body is starting to break down, Im not sure that even if he wins he will hold the title much longer.
Vettori vs. Dolidze
Roman Dolidze, SUB, R3
could be a sub/tko combo like in the Haws or Hermanson fight

Am I the only person that feels like there could be a bunch of upsets on this card?
Example 1: I love Fiziev and see him out classing Gaethje but all it takes is one solid punch from Gaethje and the fights over.
Example 2: Vettori should win but Dolidze could very well take advantage of mistakes made like he has in his past couple fights.
Example 3: Klein should beat Hebert but Hebert towers over him and could use his size advantage/ kickboxing to put Kleins lights out.
There are so many fights on this card where I can see the dogs winning if they capitalize in the right ways. This card isn't like 285

I don't know about a "bunch of upsets" but I do think there's a great chance at least one of your examples happens.

UFC 285 only had one upset out of the 14 fights. This card is way harder to predict.
The more I look into the fights on this card the more I realize that there is potential for several upsets.

Idk I think most of these fights are setups for the uk guy to win. There will be some upsets for sure but I don’t think fiziev or vettori will be the ones to lose. This sounds crazy but I think one that is most likely to upset is mokaev. He rushed getting shoulder surgery just to fight on this card, and now he’s fighting an opponent who is actually talented

@ayy I definitely think the fights are set up for the UK guys like usual. I can totally see some of them fumbling the bag tho
Fiziev and Vettori are two guys I plan on putting money on. I only gave those examples because upsets are always possible. Especially in this sport.
And that's what I'm saying there are openings in a lot of these fights for dogs to win.. especially with Mokaev

Nelson vs. Barberena
Bryan Barberena, TKO, R1
Absolutely insane that only 18% of people have Barbarena picked.
Mokaev vs. Filho
Jafel Filho, SUB, R2
Considering Mokaev just struggled with Malcom Gordon, a man who isn’t exactly at the top of the division, I find it hard to justify 90%+ of people going for him.

Mokaev is safe here. Look further than just his opponents record. The people with good records that Filho beat have only beaten hot garbage. Filho is below average IMHO and will get subbed here. I'd pick Gordon to beat Filho tbh.

Eh, I think you're discrediting Filho a bit too much. He's solid, but yeah Mokaev should run through him pretty easily

Have you watched filho fight? His grappling is very good. The only issue is he lies on his back because he is a bjj player. When he gets in top control he has devastating gnp and very good submissions. Mokaev should win but his opponent really is not bad. I mean, we saw Gordon reverse him, if filho reverses him mokaev isn’t gonna get back up

Are you picking Moraes? Have you made any reads on the fight? Is it worth it to look into it further?

@nekro who is moraes? You mean mokaev? Yeah I’m picking him yo win but very low confidence. He didn’t look good in his last fight which was honestly a step down in competition. Now he’s fighting an unknown guy with a lot of skills. Ultimately I have to pick mokaev because filho is a bjj guy who likes to sit on his back and play guard. But, mokaev does a lot of stupid things and also has a messed up shoulder
