In my opinion 47-47. But Leon won the fight: the leg kicks, and body kicks plan worked very well especially in the first 8 minutes of the fight and in the last 2 rounds Edwards defended the takedowns, he knew how to use the clinch (especially in the fifth round) and land the better shots.
First Round 10-9 Edwards
Second Round: Really close especially because of Edwards' dominant early round, but Usman closed stronger
Third Round: 10-8 Usman with the point deduction
4th Round: 10-9 Edwards
5th Round: 10-9 Edwards.

I agree with the decision but those scorecards are so confusing. It’s like 1 round they’re giving it to someone for controll over damage and other rounds they’re giving a round that was exactly the same to the guy who landed more shots. I can see judges scoring a fight differently but don’t get why one judge considers one thing more important in 1 round and then the same thing less important in the next round

gliese58i If I'm not mistaken, Dana already said Colby needs to win at least one fight to get a title shot. They just needed a backup for this fight. I honestly hope Belal gets the shot, so that Edwards can win more decisively this time around. Since he was basically piecing Belal up before that eyepoke happened
