Predictions: 2 of 5 Winners, 2 Perfect, 200 Points   |   Tied for 3630th

I'd say given the opponent's style this fight has the highest potential for a TKO. Hah - but I definitely wouldn't put my money on that result.

I've always been a fan of Loma, problem is I think she's under sized for the division & optimal weight class for her would be Atomweight. I wish more pure Muay Thai killers from Thailand would transition to MMA tying to get into the UFC

Ji Yeon Kim, DEC
Great to see the UFC giving Kim a last opportunity : she's a fun fighter to watch. As long as it's not the Sam Alvey treatment, 4 losses in a row i(including close fights and 2 fights of the night) is kind of OK to me...

Showcase fight for the Superboy. I’m a huge fan of his and always have been, really hoping he scores the highlight reel KO in front of his people

Park vs. Tiuliulin
Jun Yong Park, SUB, R3
I like Denis, but he’s at a disadvantage as far as skill and atheism in most of his fights. I think Park will use wrestling to tire Denis and will find the RNC

UFC Seoul Update: Korean Zombie Injured, Event Cancelled?

Predictions: 5 of 11 Winners, 3 Perfect, 365 Points   |   Tied for 2443rd

It looks like UFC Seoul will likely be cancelled after Korean Zombie announced on Instagram that he would not be able to compete at the event due to a shoulder injury. Do you think they will run the event without him or relocate the event entirely? And should the UFC still schedule a card for South Korea in 2023 if they do cancel the February event?

On MMAjunkie, they mentioned that the event was absent from their annoucements so my guess is that its not going to happen.

They don't have any other Koreans or possible fighters that could headline an event like this?

I doubt kang would headline unless he gets a big ranked fight (doubt it). Maybe song yadong can headline

Gonna try to save this event; hear me out

Predictions: 7 of 11 Winners, 1 Perfect, 405 Points   |   Tied for 1568th

MAIN EVENT
Xiaonan Yan vs. Amanda Lemos

Best marketable East-Asian fighter likely available to headline with most logical opponent. Yes, I'm aware this isn't the most sexy fight but I doubt Lemos says no to technically fighting down. She'll get paid for another 5 rounder and the UFC should love the idea because she has a legit chance to KO Yan. Yan would obviously be fighting for a ranking and potential title shot and in some peoples opinion beat Lemos' last big win in Rodriguez. It's a good head for either fighter to have as they're both pretty much a fight a two away from a title shot.

CO-MAIN

Alexander Romanov vs. Serghei Spivak

Heavyweights are always where you look when you want to put pop on an otherwise lackluster event. Not sure where either of these guys are training out of specifically off the top of my head but they are logical opponents who both could return home to Russia and Moldova respectfully in time to prepare. While they wouldn't exactly be next door, both fighters would at least be within reasonable travel distance for the event. Super sambo match-up of #12 vs. #13 which might not be easy to sell Spivak on who just had a 5 rounder canceled against #7. I think this would be a perfect co-main if they could make it happen.

Thoughts? I don't think the event should be canceled just because Zombie is unavailable. There's not a lot of high ranking Korean fighters to base an entire event around to begin with.

Pretty bad idea to cancel the card just because KZ can't be on it IMO. Surely they can come up with some kind of half decent main, there's already some solid ideas in this thread.

Why would Romanov and Spivak, the literal ONLY two Moldovans on the entire roster fight each other??? Especially since they're both heavyweights and don't need too. I like the fight, but I doubt they'll want to do that
