While this will be another close fight for Culibao, I think he just takes a clean decision here as the more well rounded fighter. I feel like it's one of the better fights on the card and I've seen little to no mention of it on these forums all week.
Anyone else have any thoughts? I think Melsik is a really good striker but I think he'd need a finish to get a win here and I just don't see it. For two guys that have roughly the same amount of fights, Culibao is a mile ahead in experience. I mean the 4 fight difference in their total number of fights is basically Culibaos UFC career thus far. All of those fights are against opponents who are an entire tier above anyone Melsik has fought so far while neither guy Melsik has fought are even in the promotion anymore. Not only that, but his finish on DWCS isn't exactly aging well either considering it kicked off a 4 fight losing streak for Collin Anglin.
Culibao +200 by decision will almost certainly be a prop I think really hard about since this is a fight I'm 100% keeping out of any parlays.

I have a weird feeling that Emmett will get knocked out at some point. He's gonna mix in some wrestling but Rodriguez will end up head kicking him.
Brown vs. Maddalena

It'll take Jack a few minutes to get inside because of the range from Brown but once he does it's over. Brown is a very good and underrated fighter but Jack is gonna finish him with body shots. Long flight home for Brown.
Tafa vs. Porter

Porter gets Tafa down and smashes him. We can joke about Porter but he's actually not even THAT bad. Tafa is worse.
Crute vs. Menifield

I was gonna pick Crute but I just can't. His IQ is terrible. Menifield is gonna push him up against the cage and knock him out. Crute could get a sub but he won't go for a takedown per usual.
Pedro vs. Bukauskas

Pedro is gonna get the sub. Modestas is terrible and even though Pedro hasn't fought the best competition I think he gets another victory here. UFC really wants him to win.
Culibao vs. Baghdasaryan

Culibao is so damn hittable. Melsik should piece him up for 3 rounds. I think Culibao needs to mix in takedowns/hope that Melsik gasses.
Rodrigues vs. Ross

Kleydson lost to Vergara. Terrible look. Ross getting a UFC contract off of a loss is strange but Kleydson should be able to beat him.
Mullarkey vs. Prado

Prado in round 1 because he's very dangerous and Mullarkey is extremely chinny. I'm taking the upset here. Jamie gets hurt way too much.
Jenkins vs. Shainis

Don will gas badly and Jenkins will put him away. Not high on either guy but Shainis isn't UFC caliber. I think Jack will prove that he belongs.
Lookboonmee vs. Reed

Reed isn't as bad as people say but Loma beats her anywhere this fight goes.

Young is gonna do something dumb and Blake is gonna take his back and sub him. I can already see it coming. I don't think Blake will be much in the UFC but he has tons of heart and has fought through tons of adversity already. Young shouldn't be in the UFC anymore.

Tukhugov SHOULD win this fight but he always fights down to the level of his competition so who knows.
