Predictions: 5 of 11 Winners, 2 Perfect, 340 Points   |   Tied for 2987th

Strickland vs. Imavov
Nassourdine Imavov, TKO, R3
Eaaaasy.

Ige vs. Jackson
Damon Jackson, SUB, R3
Could go either way.

Soriano vs. Kopylov
Punahele Soriano, DEC
Close fight could go either way.

Nurmagomedov vs. Barcelos
Umar Nurmagomedov, TKO, R2
Head kick finish?! Nurmagomedov is nasty

Mendonça vs. Basharat
Javid Basharat, SUB, R3
Going to be great fight, could honestly go either way.

Razak Alhassan vs. Ribeiro
Claudio Ribeiro, TKO, R1
Both K.O. artist, I think Alhassan gets caught first round

Rębecki vs. Fiore
Mateusz Rębecki, TKO, R2
Rebecki has more experience. Fiore just seems to be submission threat.

Nascimento vs. Hernandez
Carlos Hernandez, DEC
Going to be close and could go either way. I like Hernandez's last few victories as opposed to Nascimento's last few fights

I think the fact that Ige arguably beat Emmett really speaks to the difference in levels between him and his opponent here. Jackson is good for sure, but I just think he's a little too repetitive to make his style work against more fierce competition. Ige isn't an easy fight for many of the elites.

I had Strickland but I'm switching to the Imavov side now because I just feel as though Imavov fights longer than Strickland and his darting kickboxing style is an effective counter to Strickland's long, plodding jabbing style. I also think that his ability to pull off chokes from unorthodox positions will be key against somebody who walks forward head-first.

Just for the record, I forget about Argueta, they’re actully 6 big favourite on this card, so more then half the fights are bellator matchup, Also 6 of the first 7 bouts are bellator matchups, expecting tons of ads early on becuase bellator matchups tend to be manufactured early finishes

What a massive bum card this is lol, to make it even worse we have Strickland main event. And rest of the fights look like something a low level organization would do to pad their fighters records: Georges St-Pierre vs A Bus driver. Don't even get me started on having SiBUM EuBUMs vs CaHOEira as the first fight of the year. Truly pathetic. ONE championship had a great card tonight if the UFC keeps up this way ONE might actually take over. Fight Nights are getting worse and worse, the next one is Fatass Lewis vs SerGAY Spivak and the rest of the card looks like Dana White contender series with bunch of no name bums.

If the fights were at a decent time I would watch One over UFC if it continues to go like this.

Low quality garbage that they are serving up to us. Amd sone of the low IQ scavengers on here are more than willing to keep guzzling it up. The UFC is becoming a regional show with great production and in 5 years I can see the PFL taking over with better fighter pay.

Strickland vs. Imavov
Nassourdine Imavov, TKO
I’ll be honest, I walked out of 2022 in a negative which hurts to admit even on tap but I guess I should be revered here like the Dalai Lama for my humility and humanity. I see a lot of opinions that I value highly on here saying Strickland over Imavov (@RAH123, @BAREMARAS AND @AYYLMAO). I think you guys have it incorrect this time my friends, Strickland is an amusing guy but he is not at the level of Imavov. LET THIS PICK BE THE MOMENT YOU REMEMBER ME FOR. Imavov is one of those guys in the UFC younger and lowered ranked but could absolutely beat guys in the TOP10. Eg Topuria, Muniz , Chimaev. Listen carefully to Strickland he said in his media day that he was sitting around for a month. Come on now ! Imavov by finish.

Ige vs. Jackson
Dan Ige, DEC
Damon Jackson you bastard. Killed my Sabatini parlays last time and mark my words I will be correct in fading you sir. That time is now. Not many people are actually talking about the bad run Ige is having but anyway they would all beat Jackson as well. This time Jackson will hit a wall. Ige is the better striking and had Bjj to counter some of Jackson’s scrambles into bjj finishes. I thought Dan would be cut after the last one but seems he’s one of the UFC’s boys. Ige bounces back on this one.

Soriano vs. Kopylov
Punahele Soriano, TKO
I’m pretty good on betting these two. Only bet them both in their last 2 and got all 4right. I know when to fade them and know when to pickem. That being said give me PUNAHELE. Also and equally as important, if you watch Soriano’s media day, this is a man who BELIEVES he will win on Saturday. I love that for him.

Vieira vs. Pennington
Ketlen Vieira, DEC
Weirdly enough this might be for title contention. I won’t lie I had Holm to beat Veira last time. I felt like it was a robbery but honestly it definitely was Ketlen’s fight. She had a very nice right hand that would rock Holm often and I think the same will happen to Raquel. Great fight againt Lad but you Lad is not ufc level ( I had Raquel). Raquel also seems like she’s shifting her attention to more marriage and maternal situations, I saw her and Tecia Torres are together maybe they’ve had the “let’s slow down and have a baby chat”. Hopefully. I like Ketlen to escape cage control and slip with her right hand like she did last time to score a decision. 6/10 to Ketlen and 4/10 to Raquel. My estimations are on Ketlen.

Nurmagomedov vs. Barcelos
Umar Nurmagomedov, DEC
Another Nurma win. What’s new ?

Mendonça vs. Basharat
Javid Basharat, DEC
I believe Javid wins 7/10 times but there’s something about this match up that makes me want to not bet on it.

Razak Alhassan vs. Ribeiro
Claudio Ribeiro, TKO
Crazy that Razak used to the “scary-guy” coming up in the division but now it’s 2023 and he’s being dished to a contender series alum. I don’t get the hate on Riberio to begin with sloppy technique but the power is good. The hate on his DWCS Ko aside it was a beautifully timed counter regardless of what you say. The question I’m asking myself is “Will he land on Razak throughout the 15?” Most definitely he will. And if Damage trumps Volume and Control time surely the few big shots Riberio lands will count. I don’t think he finishes Razak but he makes it a competitive decision. And I will be cheering “HEEEYYYYY!!!!!!!”, along with his corner.

Rębecki vs. Fiore
Mateusz Rębecki, SUB
The level of competition Fiore has defeated is not looking good. Plus the short notice. I’m thinking what everyone else is thing. No analysis needed here.

Nascimento vs. Hernandez
Allan Nascimento, DEC
I know Allan has been up and own in this run in the UFC but he has a big frame for his division and Hernandez arguably robbed Barez imo. Nascimento trains with Charles Oliveira and I’m sure his winning mentality must be sharp. Hernandez has a tendency to make his matchups quite even, that won’t take him far man. Give me the 125 Charlie. I think he has a great performance here. The Hadley win is ageing very well.

Argueta vs. Aguirre
Daniel Argueta, DEC
No opinion on this one.

Flick vs. Johnson
Charles Johnson, TKO
Won’t have any money on this fight. Looks like anothe Krause Situation. So Charles by TKO.

There are ranked fighters and young prospects coming up begging for fights and the UFC is straight up ignoring them while putting up Fury FC tier fights. UFC 283 has 41 years old Shogun and Abdurakhimov on prelims like come on.

Whats funny to me is how fighters complain about their pay but can go on 3 years without having a single fight, cut Ngannou already, guy thinks he is a superstar.

I am not saying to stack up fight night cards from top to bottom but at least show us something where is Fiziev, Allen, Chikadze, Gaethje, none of them are injured and had their last fights a long time ago, putting one of these guys on a fight night would highly raise the value of the overall card.

keep that same energy when the UFC puts on 3 PPVs within 30 days in March

this card and other fight night cards coming up is what I call scouting cards

this is the place where you get to see new-comers fight their debuts or solidify themselves as prospects so that when the time comes for them to be on PPV early prelims and prelims, you actually know who they are
