This will be a decision but if Sean can press he will find weakness how much is up to the other guy.

To all the parlay gods in here..

I've made a habit of making the favorite in the main event the last leg on every one of my parlays. It ups the juice a bit and gives you an opportunity to hedge everything...

At the end of the night, I total up my potential winnings should the favorite win and place a hedge bet on the underdog at plus odds, guaranteeing profit. You pay for the insurance, but with all the freak injuries we saw in main events this past year, it's proven to be well worth it.

Anyone else do this? Looking for some more good betting techniques if anyone cares to share!

Sean Strickland, DEC
We got Sean Strickland at the end of the 2022 and we’ll be seeing him first in the new year. It’s too bad, Kelvin was gonna be a more entertaining fight imo

That's a way tougher fight for Imavov imo. Being at 205, I think Strickland gets it. If Imavov tries to take Sean to the ground, I think he gasses after the 3rd and we could see Sean finishing him, but decision is more likely.

Godamn, idk why Kelvin was sparring a week out from a fight. Especially to the extent your injuring yourself. Idk just seems like a poor choice all around

I agree that Trevin Jones and Tony Greveli are very good fighters , many people look at the records and do not understand that Trevin is really a tough fighter , like Tony . You know , Mateusz is a black horse , because as far as I know he is a world champion in BJJ , I did not find which version . So it could be a Pig in a poke . But Basharat is a well - deserved favorite , since he already has 3 significant victories , do not forget the dominant performance on the contenders against a regional fighter , but with a good record (the opposition is unimportant , because 16 victories is already a great experience )

I think Imavov is probably fresher and more in shape than Strickland. He did lose to Phil Hawes, but I feel like he would run through Hawes now. I think Imavov takes rounds 1-3, and Strickland takes rounds 4 and 5. It depends how tired Imavov gets in round 3 cause he does have serious cardio issues.

Strickland vs. Imavov
Sean Strickland, DEC
I think Imavov is a little green for this. His best weapon is going to be chopping leg kicks, but Strickland is too much of an elite veteran for me to back Nassourdine here. It's a close fight but Strickland will be able to beat Imavov at his potshotting game and take the win here.

Gastelum vs. Imavov
Kelvin Gastelum, TKO
lol

Ige vs. Jackson
Dan Ige, TKO, R3
Dan finds the target if Damon can't control him on the ground.

Soriano vs. Kopylov
Punahele Soriano, TKO, R2
Romans output and gas tank could get him the win or get him KO'd. needs to keep his defense strict and watch the check left and lead hook of Puna. Don't think hell be able to do it tho.

Vieira vs. Pennington
Ketlen Vieira, TKO, R3
Bad matchup for Raquel. Think she is on her way out after this one unfortunately.

Nurmagomedov vs. Barcelos
Umar Nurmagomedov, SUB, R1
Umar barely gets touched if he takes it to the floor.

Razak Alhassan vs. Ribeiro
Claudio Ribeiro, TKO, R1
fireworks. could go either way.

Rębecki vs. Fiore
Mateusz Rębecki, TKO, R1
big diff in the standup.

Mendonça vs. Basharat
Javid Basharat, DEC
Hard one to call. Mateus has the power at range, and is very respected on the ground. Javid will have the strength advantage.

Nascimento vs. Hernandez
Allan Nascimento, DEC
think this is closer than odds say it is. Hernandez has heart and grinds. tough out. He lost his back to a sticker tho. can't be good with the type of BJJ nascimento has.

Argueta vs. Dulgarian
Isaac Dulgarian, TKO, R2
Live dawg in this. Isaac was a state Champ as a sop****re. dude has legit power everywhere. Bigger test than Damon Jackson.

Flick vs. Johnson
Charles Johnson, TKO, R2
Jimmy has had a long layoff. Charles has been active. Love the odds for this one. Charles has faced more difficult competition.

Cachoeira vs. Eubanks
Sijara Eubanks, TKO, R2
Sarj should be the better technical striker, but it just seems like she's on the tail end of her career. not confident in this. Pricilla sticks her chin in the air so much and lacks a ton of fundamentals.

I say this about Imamov cardio in a 5 rounder, just because someone gasses out in 2 round in a 3 rounder, doesn’t always mean he gases out in 2 rounds in a 5 rounder, MMA is usually pretty weird with that, also he training for a 5 rounder, not a 3 rounder so expect improvement with that

I am picking Strickland too. Imavov has a better ground game but imo Strickland has the better wrestling. Clinch is probably equal. Strickland definitely has the better boxing and his forward pressure will crowd Imavov. Also he has better cardio over 5 rounds and has a good chin. I think this will be a 3 - 2 or 4 - 1 to Strickland with Imavov winning a round or two first up.
