I get why people don't like the card but imo it really isn't that bad.

Kelvin vs Imavov isn't the best ME but it should still be a really good fight, Imavov is a solid up and coming contender in the division and Kelvin is a pretty decent test, man went to a close decision on short against Cannonier recently (granted he got smoked by Hermansson and Whittaker but Whittaker does that to nearly everyone and Hermansson caught him early with something explosive).

Other than that we have Pennington vs Vieira which will defo be a title elimination bout and despite how boring it might be the stakes are still as high as they are.

Along with those this card has quite a few prospect in it:

Umar is a guy a lot of people consider as atleast a future UFC top 5 Bantamweight if not a future Champ and he's fighting Raoni who is an excellent fighter in his own right, that fight should alone be a hella of a skillful fight.

And other than Umar there's Rebecki, Basharat, Mendonca and even Nascimento who should arguably be 2-0 in the UFC and beat Hadley in his most recent bout.

Apart from prospects there are bangers like Alhassan vs Ribeiro and Soriano vs Kopylov who will both most likely end by KO/TKO.

I feel like people don't like it much since at first glance it looks weak and it lacks name value but it really isn't that bad and the prelims will be an absolute treat IMO

I think it’s just because of name value. I like every fight on the card except the 2 women’s fights

yeah same tbh, I really don't think they're gonna be bad, most of these fighters are either fun or promising. Even Cachoeira vs Eubanks doesn't bother me much as a fight since Cachoeira always bring it to her opponents

It pretty mid tbh, not bad, not great, just a apex fight card to me

But they’re still fun stuff on it so I’m not complaining

Am I the only one that was far from impressed watching Rebeckis various youtube clips? I mean he can probably maul Fiore based on their respective level of competition, probably. But I would never in a million years put money on Rebecki here.
Idk he just looks very awkward on the feet and on all the sauces known to man which presumably he'll have to taper down at least a little bit in the UFC. Can't find **** on Fiore though and his opponent's record are beyond a joke so probably a level difference here.

His striking is wild but he has a chin to back it up. Plus his grappling is very high level so that kinda balances it out

Education

Predictions: 9 of 11 Winners, 5 Perfect, 640 Points   |   Tied for 55th

As part of my ongoing Tapology betting education, for the unwashed masses... I have decided to highlight 3 main issues with how most people gamble.

I guarantee that the majority, in fact probably over 90% of you do all 3 of these things below. There is a reason the house always wins.

I am not going to give answers, that's too easy. And people truly learn only when they figure it out themselves. So here is an exercise to ponder on... think about why

1. You bet "units"
2. You bet "lines" and not fighters
3. You bet single bets and not parlays

Andrew and Bananas, I am sorry for giving up some of our techniques and strategies, but it's for the greater good

I would be a little cautious betting the house on the fight does not go in the Alhassan fight. It probably does end, but I could also easily see it go to decision.

If Bellator is for sale, can we expect corrupt activity? Will the judges try to take advantage before we buy it?

I think if we go ahead with the purchase of Bellator, the judges will instantly be begging us for handouts and bribe money so they can fix our fights creating a very awkward situation.

I know we're very much capable of buying that ****** organization but because I want to completely and utterly abstain from any form of corruption, I suggest we stay away from it.

maybe we will change our minds in 2024 if its still for sale and the plan might go as follows:

2023 the year we print money off of bellator fights

2024 the year we buy bellator itself
