Aljo recently beat a guy who's basically a better version than Kang in Yan (better boxer, better grappler, better grappling defense)

Sandhagen, dealed with a faster and powerful, probably as technical boxer in his last fight. So I heavily doubt Kang will give him much to struggle about. You watch Aljo make it close with arguably the most skilled guy in the division and you think he does the same with a guy ranked in the top 30-40 range?

"just because you're top 5 doesn't mean you have to be there" No, it does, it absolutely does. They have long winstreak against more than subpar competition. A guy who's in the top 5, especially in a division like BW, deserves to be there.

Kang's good, but be realistic he's not on the level of Sandhagen, Aljo or any of the top 10-15 ranked BWs

Also, no, just no bro

Damir doesn't beat chandler. He got easily outgrappled by Giagos and Diakese, Chandler's not dumb, he's only dumb when the fight is chaotic and he wants to be entertaining, if he sees a path to victory or sees that the fight isn't going in his favor, he will go for a takedown. And against a guy with below average TDD, he will get it 97% of the time.

I get you love your boy, but dont let that love blind facts

His 2 losses are against the best lightweight in the world and the guy who just fought for the belt, Damir is 4-5 in the ufc. One of those Ls is vs Alan Patrick, Chandler would do whatever he wants vs Damir. KO or sub it’s such a bad mismatch it’s not even funny

Even on the feet it'll probably be Chandler KO'ing him. With the threat of the takedown, Damir would worry, like he did when Mark was pounding him at the end of the second round.

But if Damir doesn't worry about the takedown, then he has a slight CHANCE, it's not a guaranteed KO win

Ko by g n p? Not even sure about that.

Damir would mess Chandler on the feet.

Only guy to beat damir on the feet is Taisumov and even then it was competitive til the finish

Chandler also gets dropped by leg kicks. He can dish it but cant take it

Tony dropped him because the shot was from a weird angle. Damir's a plotting brawler who doesn't throw shots like that. He could still drop Chandler but like I said, it's not a 100% thing to happen, nor is it something that thats likely to happen, especially with the wrestling threat I mentioned earlier where it'll make Damir eager to throw

I agree it would make damir hesitant. He talked about it after the nick hein win, he overcomitted in the patrick fight and it got him takedown.

His wrestling is not that bad. Its just hes not that athletic, and isnt the fastest.

The excuse was you saying "ah well now there's wrestling in an mma fight" when mentioning a guy with a wrestling base but ayt bro.

Tony btw, does have power, you know who else does? Gaethje, and he hit Chandler with a **** ton of shots that didn't put him down, but hey man wtv, selective memory for things that dont favor your bosnian boy

And Ramsey Nijem? And nearly any other welterweight he fought on TUF. And even then it was justified by the fact that it was a shot Chandler didn't see coming, if you know anything about striking, it's the ones that you see coming or don't brace for that do the most damage

Already stated that the Tony shot was clearly from a shot Chandler didn't see coming, again it's the shots you don't see coming.

Regional guys or not, Tony still got flush KOs on nearly all of them and on the regional guys.

"He didn't KO anyone good" So has Damir, he hasn't KO'ed anyone good either, yet you still sing his praises nearly everyday on here
