Hill has always had a lot of fat though. I remember it fooled me once before during weigh ins where I thought he was out of shape but I think it might just be genetics because I haven't seen it impact him in the cage whatsoever. I think he actually looked better physically this time than in the past even though he looks worse than 90% of fighters his age.

He's the poster child for functional muscles and strength > big uncoordinated muscles when it comes to combat sports.

The problem is bro that people on here who throw out random picks don't actually understand or are able to analyse what they are watching. You and I are going to get old and tired explaining these things.

Everyone is saying that Zaras size is going to affect Nunes striking with her. They don't realise the opposite is more likely true. Nunes is going to close the distance enter the pocket and lay into her body if she can't reach her head. And because of her long limbs Zara is not going to be able to effectively strike or defend in the pocket. Also we all know Zara has tall man defence and will quit if getting hit.

People on here are always talking about reach advantage without realising that even most male fighters don't know how to use their reach, and then it can become a disadvantage. Let alone women's low level trash MMA.

The area I do worry is in the clinch. I can see Nunes getting hit with clinch knees and losing exchanges there. But hey what do I know...

Bonfim has grappling edge over lazzez tho. Surprised more people haven’t factored that in

That reminds me of people saying Izzy would have an advantage moving up vs Jan because he would be that much faster. Weight classes are there for a reason, reach advantage and is correlated with winning for a reason, especially the lower the level of skill of the fighters.

It doesn't mean that it's the most important thing or that a bum like Fairn can use any of it but to say it's actually an advantage for Nunes being a midget compared to Fairn is going too far in my opinion.

No no. I wasn't having a go at you. It wasn'  aimed at you. Just in general about people going on about reach. Sorry if it came off that way.

Bottom line in this case is I don't believe that Zarah knows how to use that reach, but I do worry about the clinch.

That is probably true but I think Lazzez actually has been improving his TDD. He displayed some crazy flexibility and balance to stay on his feet vs Ange Loosa. I've seen Bonfim have some good wrestling entrances but he looks a bit slow to me and whatever success he's had there it's on the brazilian regional scene which I don't rate that highly when it comes to the wrestling most of the time. Striking wise he's 100% boxing and it's all head hunting. Both Bonfim brothers also have this tendency to lean back with their chin in the air when they strike which is not the best posture fighting someone taller and longer than yourself.

I think Lazzez has more tools in his striking and the physical advantages. Bonfim should go in with a wrestling heavy game plan but do you really think he wont try for a knockout at first in his home country and UFC debut?
I think this will be a great fight both fighters will be ready for war.

After watching tape of Ferreira, all I can say is that it’s gonna be an absolute barn burner vs Rodrigues… while I want Rodrigues to win, I do worry about his chin, he’s been brutally KO’d before

@gilese yeah good points. Bonfim has just shown to go the the grappling a lot on tape, that’s why despite being a boxer he has 10/13 wins by sub. I literallly just watched lazzez vs loosa today so I see what u mean about the takedown defense. However, I thjnk loosa I’d honestly not a great offensive wrestler. His defensive wrestling is amazing but he really struggles to take guys down for some reason. Warlley alves and alhassan were able to get lazzez down relatively easy. I also didn’t like how much he was giving his neck up against alhassan; obviously he should have the fight iq to not wrestle bonfim but if he does and leaves his neck exposed like that he will get subbed

Also I just like the activity and age more from bonfim

No problem mate I don't take anything on these boards to heart. Even when I call someone a moron or they call me a moron it's mostly having a laugh, for me at least.
I come here for entertainment purposes and the occasional interesting discussion, if I was reliant on even the best cappers on here for my bets it would be in my best interest to just stop betting or start paying James Krause for bets.

If your point is that people are wiki and stat capping and not watching tape or actually puzzling out how a fight will play out in the cage then I agree, there's a lot of budget Gianni the Greek posters all over the place.

Yeah age is a factor here but Lazzez has the experience, especially of being in the UFC. I think it will be a competetive fight and up for grabs for either fighter and as you know when that is the case I'll pick a good dog.
That's how I've been making money this past 2.5 years so I'll probably just keep at it.

If you'd average it all down it's finding pickem fighters at +150-+200 and hitting at a 40% clip making a 10-15% profit over the course of a year. Go through my whole bankroll around twice a year for a total year on year growth of 20-30%. Slow and steady wins the race as far as I'm concerned, I don't chase the big ticket parlays and I don't have the nerve for trying to hit favorites at 70% or greater rate to make a profit.

Respect to those that can stomach that kind of thing.

I think it will be a step too far for Costa on short notice to take on Moises but I think Costa has potential watching some of his past fights. He mixes up the striking well, I like his teeps and questionmark kicks and he is great at stepping back and countering with the left hook. He looks a bit inexperienced/sloppy in the grappling though, not the best control there.
Also I guess he's getting the Michael Jackson treatment? He went from brown with white spots to white with brown spots.
