you'd have to go back to early 2020 to find a legit, semi-impressive win of magny and those are the anthony rocco martin/li jingliang wins and even then the jingliang win was a favorable matchup for him and anthony rocco martin didnt fight in the ufc again, briefly retiring
i thought his win against d-rod was an absolute meme since he got rocked a **** ton of times and d-rod gassed and threw the fight so in reality, skill wise, hes coming off a loss. his win against max griffin he got ****** up so badly on the feet he had to resort to exploiting max griffin's grappling. the geoff neal win, neal's inactivity and gunshy fighting style lost him that fight. the robbie lawler win - no comment, he should be putting dudes like robbie lawler out

While Burns only lost to chimaev, cos he lost the first 3 minutes of the 3rd round ... and I had ALOT of money on Chimaev

he had usman rocked multiple times in r1 and if it was anyone else other than usman, they would have probably been knocked out from those shots
against chimaev, he rocked him 2 times, showed decent cardio, decent chin and almost took him down one time too
wonderboy thompson got wrestle****** by burns and i think he has better tdd than magny and on the feet an elite striker like wonderboy only managed to expose burns once with that spinning hook kick (burns slightly dips his head to his right side at times making him vulnerable to left high kicks or like the wonderboy fight, right spinning kicks. magny though only throws the right high kick which is coming from burns' left side - a side which he doesnt dip his head to)

There was a lot of clinch game in that fight, and Neil didn't have much success using it. He was getting pieced up on the feet, and if DRod hadn't gotten tired badly and let Magny get up, he could have easily won that.
As Baremaras said, Durinho has the calf kick to use against Magny, and if I remember correctly, Dos Anjos managed to take Magny to the ground by using a calf kick.
I think Burns gets either a sub or a unanimous decision.
