Pretty happy with this. Ismael's definitely on my radar now.
Hurt seeing Figgy go down like that but props to Moreno.

Also genuinely think Hill is the best 205er now; he does best against long-range strikers like himself, so I could see him beating up the lead leg of Ankalaev and winning a decision. As for Jiri, I don't see him having extended success in getting close and making it dirty. Hill's movement is improving by orders of magnitude.

I like it. I like most of these matchups actually, and I’d love to see them made, and most of them seem realistic. I think some of the dudes you mentioned will probably get easier, smaller step ups in competition, but for the most part I could totally see the UFC making these matches.

For example, Ismael is a legit prospect, the real deal and a top 15 talent, but he’s only 1-0 in the UFC. I know Guram is only 1-1 and they’re both in crazy positions, but I think Guram does baaaad things to him. Would love to see the fight though. Almeida vs Romanov is a grappling banger, I hope that gets made.

Remember when I said Robocop was chinny and people had fits and cried? I haven't watched all the tape on Robocop so there might be more examples but Robocop got knocked out in his pro debut vs Bruno Lopes, he got rocked bad and almost KOd vs Umar Gaisunov in ACB, he got knocked out by Jordan Williams on the contender series, he got rocked bad vs Yong Park and then tonight he got floored bad. Robocop is great, offensive terror big, physical, heavy handed and fairly well rounded offensively but his defense isn't the best and his chin has historically been weak...these are not hitters that did this to him. When I say chinny it isn't an insult and I acknowledged sometimes fighters with noticeably suspect chins will have fights where they oddly hold up well. It's just an observation, one I make with backing. Don't care about the down votes, keep them coming but offer some discourse too, you might learn something. 

And yes I still picked Rodrigues but seeing him get floored by anyone wouldn't surprise me, even though he ate a huge knee from Chidi, his chin is not great.
