Excellent Call-Out by Burns: Welterweights need fights between Top 5 fighters to get the next challenger out. I wouldn't be surprised if Covington comes up with the excuse that nobody knows Durinho and that since he's the "true champion" everyone wants to see Covington vs. Poirier or that he needs to have a rematch against Masvidal. Covington isn't the second-best fighter in the category who only lost to Usman. He is a fighter who apart from his two fights against the former champion has not fought a Top 5 fighter since his fight against RDA almost 5 years ago.
