@ryanQ imo I don’t think this is the spot to fade Acosta yet, he could very well lose but watching Sherman lose round two and losing half of round 3 to vanderaa was really concerning. Especially given the fact that he was huffing and puffing after one round. Even though it was dull, at least waldo was beating vanderaa.

I would recommend staying away from the fight but a decent bet could be over 1.5 or even live bet waldo in the second round since chase is likely to win the first before his cardio gives out. Especially depends on the pace they fight at, if waldo fights like he did on dwcs, chase will be gassed out after 2 minutes

Predictions: 4 of 11 Winners, 1 Perfect, 225 Points   |   Tied for 3364th

Cutelaba will end his losing streak and win. I also think he will finish this fight off with a second round tko

Spivak is on a mission and I believe Lewis is close to HOF and exit. He did look good on scale and I’m not as strong on this fight but will ride with Spivak on a strange go the distance UNANIMOUS DECISION. His jab will be the star in what I believe to be a boring defensive fight. Good luck

AyyLmaonnaiseI think Waldo's only way to win is by KO. Chase is the better striker of the two and I can honestly see a scenario that he can KO Waldo himself. That being said, this match up is so unpredictable. Both fighters shouldn't even be in the UFC. I think this shows you the depth and level of competition in the Heavyweight division right now. Only the top 13 fighters are actually good.

I personally think Waldo only has two threats. His jab and his powerful right hand cannon. That's about it. He relies way too much on his KO power. That being said, Chase's striking is a lot better. However, he is super inconsistent and has low fight IQ. Chase mainly struggled against fighters that had at least a bit of grappling skills. Waldo doesn't have that threat. I have a hard time picking this one. Since I can see a scenario for both fighters to win this fight.

It’s definitely a winnable fight for chase, I really think this should be closer to a pickem than what it actually is. That being said, chase has struggled against strikers too. He was a minute to losing that fight against vanderaa if it wasn’t for that one exchange. The issue with chase is even when he’s not being grappled he starts to slow down tremendously after the first round. So Waldo’s chances increase the longer this fight goes on. What I see happening is chase will win the first while he’s fresh and waldo will take over as the fight goes on. I think he could get a finish too but not confident in that since both are garbage

I forgot to mention something. We know that Waldo is a good hammer, but can he also be the nail? Vanderaa had solid leg kicks and Waldo could deal with them. However, we haven't really seen him in a war yet. So it remains to be seen how he deals with that as well. Which makes it even more trickier to actually predict this fight. Especially since I think that Chase can give him some issues in the striking and this will for sure be a striking fight.

AyyLmaonnaise After typing all this out, I think we are both looking way too deep into it. This fight is just so unpredictable. Waldo could win by KO and DEC, but Chase as well. I would be mindblown if either wins by sub lol

badimeras1  There are too many close matchups on paper. So this is not the card to actually put any parlays on. At least, not if I were you lol. The only fighter I'm confident about on this card is Della Maddalena

My brain says to not bet heavyweight fights, but my heart enjoys the thrill too much. Give me +200 in a coinflip fight. I don't like how quickly Waldo's turning around after the Vanderaa fight

Predictions: 5 of 11 Winners, 2 Perfect, 315 Points   |   Tied for 3137th

Lewis vs. Spivak
Serghei Spivak, TKO, R3
the derrick lewis train was fun while it was moving, but the reality is that his limited skillset isn't gonna translate to consistent wins and his chin is starting to show it. i'll say spivac finds his td's.

Cutelaba vs. Nzechukwu
Ion Cutelaba, DEC
ion might run into something, but i'll instead say he crashes into the clinch and works his td game into some gnp.

Sherman vs. Cortes-Acosta
Waldo Cortes-Acosta, DEC
fighting so recently has me apprehensive on waldo, plus he couldn't finish the same guy chase just did, but i'll say that chase is probably more hittable.

Salikhov vs. Fialho
Muslim Salikhov, DEC
feeling like muslim will have the better movement and will be more technical.

Maddalena vs. Roberts
Jack Della Maddalena, TKO, R2
not sure i trust roberts' chin here.

Zhumagulov vs. Johnson
Zhalgas Zhumagulov, DEC
doin my best to dip my yearly % down on this one, i'll say zhalgas's pressure prevents charles from getting too much off.

Maia vs. Moroz
Maryna Moroz, DEC
maia can win this if she doesn't start slow, but i'm not sure i see that happening.

Johns vs. Morales
Miles Johns, TKO, R2
figuring johns has more power and is likely more active.

Turcios vs. Natividad
Ricky Turcios, DEC
guess i'm in agreeance with the majority that ricky doens't have the pop to finish kevin, but his volume should be enough.

Oliveira vs. Demopoulos
Maria Oliveira, DEC
screw it, i'm taking dogs to start. oliveira outlands vanessa and avoids jumping into her guard?

Garcia vs. Hiestand
Fernie Garcia, DEC
was gonna say brady wins scrambles and holds him down, but for whatever reason my gut told me that his striking won't be enough to mask his entries.

Silva vs. Bledá
Tereza Bledá, DEC
i'll take a chance here and say bleda can make good on the size advantage.
