Definitely a step up for Puelles, since Hooker will be the best striker he has faced in the cage. Good fight for Hooker’s return to lightweight. 50-50 fight for me but I think Puelles has only been improving.

Michael Chandler is vastly overrated. Dustin Poirier is a top 3 lightweight right now I have Michael chandler ranked 11 at lightweight. This a guy who's only two recent wins have been to Dan hooker and tony Ferguson which are good names but aren't world beaters anymore these guys at sniffing the top 5 anytime soon .Michael Chandler is entertaining and is a powerful fighter with solid wrestling but he has a fading chin and is here to please the crowd. Michael chandler is coming to go to war with Dustin Poirier and in case you haven't watched a Dustin Poirier fight in the last five years when you go to war with Dustin Poirier you go to sleep. Unless you have incredible conditioning and durability , two things chandler does not , there is a world where chandler catches Dustin early or wrestles him for 2 rounds enough to squeak out a decision but the days of a Michael Chandler with good fight IQ are over, as long as Dustin ism't in an awful headspace chandler should gradually start to get overwhelmed as long as this fight goes I do have some slight concerns in the pacing of Dustin not that he is a slow starter but he hasn't fought a 3 round fight in 5 years so there is a world where chandler takes the first round and a half and squeaks out a split decision . However, Dustin is a straight up Dog with a capital D this guy beat max Holloway twice for a reason he's pound for pound at a reason, and he has an advantage in the stand-up , durability and conditioning is which is far superior to "Iron" Mike I expect a quick start from mike pulling his usual antics he might even hurt Poirier but I believe Dustin is still tough enough to take 4-6 minutes of chandler's best shots before he figures out his openings Chandler will gas in the 2nd and I expect Chandler to be majorly hurt and probably finished before the final 2 minutes of this fight if Chandler wants to survive against Poirier he is going to have to go to a very dark place. Dustin does not play with his food. the antics Chandler pulled against Gaethje won't fly, Once Dustin smells blood Chandler will be finished within 90 seconds .Dustin Poirier 2nd-3rd round TKO.I would definitely bet on the under 2 and a half prop

- 15 mins with Gaethje landing heavy shots on Mike's chin and he was returning aswell for the full 15.
- Iron Mike was almost the champion of the world and showed the most durability against Charles Do Bronx compared to anybody else.
- also bringing up Dan Hooker? Poirer went to war with him and Chandler left him stiff as a board within 5.

However saying Chandler has only beaten Ferguson and Hooker is an interesting point but not one to make against Poirier. Poirier has 2 wins over McGregor since Chandler came into the UFC. And his win prior to McGregor? Dan Hooker by decision.
So if you want to discuss their recent wins, they are similar.
Poirier also went to war with Hooker and Hooker wasn’t knocked out. Beating Hooker is nothing to scoff at. Neither is knocking out a Ferguson. And the last two Poirier/McGregor fights are two of my all time favorite fights.

I think Dustin has a better chin and has a better willpower than Iron Mike. I also think that the technique advantage is heavily in favor Dustin. Of course the power is in Chandlers favor but i'm not convinced he can handle the volume and pressure Dustin will put on him. Never the less, we all need that fight
