I hope so but I think Izzy fairy-dances for a weak, boo-inspiring UD.

Adesanya vs. Pereira
Alex Pereira, SUB, R2
I'm expecting Izzy to win this fight, BUT I'm going to go ahead and say that I think Alex will try to sub him in MMA. I think he's going to let Izzy and the media continue bringing up the KO in GLORY and just have everyone make that the narrative of the fight - will Izzy get KO'd again? Meanwhile I think Alex should train with Glover as much as possible on a gameplan to take Izzy down and submit him in the fight, the earlier the better due to less sweat. I know this is a long shot and the guy is only ******* 6-1 in MMA, but personally think that would be a great path to victory. Just let him worry about your striking and your knockout, meanwhile work on getting that guy on the ground, control him there, beat him up, and choke him out. But anyways like I said, I expect Izzy to win - probably like 4th/5th round KO.

I actually think this fight goes the same way as most of Izzy's recent fights, but with Pereira getting the nod. He manages distance better than the shorter fighters with a lesser reach than Israel (like Whittaker) and so the straight right to the body will be tremendously helpful.
Just don't see Israel standing in the pocket throwing leg kicks given the danger of Pereira's power, and moreso how he turns it over.

I agree with your assessment, but I just don't see Pereira not landing big at some point during the entire 25 min fight. Izzy def getting finished imo

Pereiras a favorite on Tapology, crazy. This fight kinda reminds me of Islam vs Charles betting wise, but I don't necessarily think Poatan will win while I'm on the Oliveira train till death. Hopefully both Brazilians win though

I say Adesanya is a winner, You may call it boring, But he's getting the Dub at the end of the day, Being entertaining and winning don't correlate, I think Adesanya will try an wrestle him, Adesayna grappling is pretty good, You can't be a champion with multipel defences and not be well rounded, It may work, it may not, I think Izzy at minmun will get a takedown or 2, If Bruno Silva getting multiple takedown on you, Adesanya will too
Also, Izzy chin is great, Alex is the only man who crack it in 100+ fight, He may do it again, But I also seen Izzy take bombs

Izzy does not have good wrestling lmao, it's pretty sub par bad, but Pereira has abysmal take down defense. That's why this fight is so ******* complicated and weird. Pereira's training with one of the greatest grapplers in the heavier weight classes in Glover Teixeira, will he try to grapple Adesanya? I doubt he'll be successful but it would catch anyone off guard. Same thing goes for Adesanya, except that he has such an ego I think he'll see going for a takedown as a mental L, which it honestly is, but I still think he'll do it. Don't think it'll be successful either cause both these guys have **** grappling but it makes this fight super intriguing
