@mutz yeah that’s very true. Only issue is anders cant really strike for ****. I know it was a close split decision but he looked so terrible in that park figbt. Only wanted to hug him against the fence and gassed out badly. Plus he’s very clearly on the decline and excluding that terrible gm3 robbery, he’s something like 2-7-1 in his last 9; really damning. 

I think daukaus sucks but if anders is gonna grapple I think daukaus has the better ground game to deal with it. He’s also way taller

Every time I see Holland fight I cringe whenever he throws that leaping in 1-2. Every time he misses with it his chin is open right in the pocket. Even this old washed version of Wonderboy should be able to capitalize on that. 

i have a feeling anders is gonna get cut if he loses.

I would never put money on Anders or Johnson, both of them pretty much loss every fight they’re in, they most likely lose just because that what they do

@baremaras oh, it’s definitely very smart from him. Very rarely does any fighter ever get in the position he’s in; he’s basically set for life and can get whatever fights he wants. Just dissapointing from a fan perspective because I really think he’s got a high ceiling. Outside of his tdd, his skillset is craaaaaazy

I think Holland is just annoyed cause he got 2 opportunities when he was hot and ****** both of them up. The thing he probably is really annoyed about is that the Vettori fight was on short notice coming off a loss against a better similar styled fighter and kind of turned into a fun fighter instead of a top fighter, so he didn't get the same treatment he got when he won 5 straight. I think he probably stayed in middleweight a fight too long and should've dropped to welterweight after the Brunson fight. Most of this **** is on him tho cause he decided to be dumb and take a fight that he knew he was going to lose since he didn't work on his wrestling at all. The Khamzat fight was just a wakeup call that his BJJ isn't going to beat a wrestler like that even with the year of purely training wrestling which is really deflating. He's only 30 tho and has the skillset to challenge for a belt if he actually wants to put the time in, but I think part of this retirement talk is the fact that he knows he's still a few years of training away from actually being able to win and doesn't want to put in the work since he's been training for so long
