Predictions: 9 of 14 Winners, 2 Perfect, 555 Points   |   Tied for 1195th

Brunson vs. Hermansson
Jack Hermansson, TKO, R3
Joker will neutralize Brunson's offensive wrestling and pick him apart from the outside until he tires, then go in for the kill. At the very least I believe he can outpoint Brunson.

Cortez vs. Ribas
Amanda Ribas, DEC
Ribas as at least as good a grappler as Cortez (black belt in judo, black belt in jiu-jitsu, 88% TDD) and is way better on the feet. I have not seen Cortez demonstrate effective striking in any fight of hers that I've watched (if you have please let me know, I'm interested in checking it out). I bet this will play out very similarly to Ribas' fight with Mackenzie Dern - stuffing the takedowns and piecing Cortez up. Cortez's best chance at victory is to try to get Ribas' back if Amanda goes for the head and arm throw (which I don't expect her to try in this fight). But if Stephanie Egger can defend her back against Cortez than Ribas definitely can.

Marshall vs. Rojo
Francis Marshall, SUB, R2
Marshall dominated his Contender Series fight and Rojo doesn't look like much on paper. Fire Marshall by RNC.

I think ( I hope) MJ TDD is enough good to stop Diakiese takedowns + he has better striking. Diakiese has a good chin, but who knows, MJ can KO everybody and lose to everybody

I don’t know how to feel about this fight. I’ve seen brunson gas so many times and both of these guys panic when they don’t get the takedown. Brunson has improved his striking but as soon as 1 TD fails he stops believing in his hands and he has got the power advantage here. Hermansson looks a bit more comfortable on the feet so I’d probably side with him

Watching it while in the arena is ******* awesome. Especially when the fight is on point. I will admit it’s just as cool when it comes to watching the fights at home, but the experience itself is crazy

Brunson vs. Hermansson
Jack Hermansson, DEC
Watching Hermannson jab & dance around Chris Curtis for 15 minutes straight while knowing he could have wrestled his way to a W gives me enough confidence to pick him here. I think Brunson is more dependent on getting the takedown

Brunson vs. Hermansson
Jack Hermansson, TKO, R4
One one hand Brunson has looked good against the top 10 hopefuls at middleweight but jack seems to have turned a new leaf when it comes to his striking and utilising his reach and against the surging Chris Curtis, Brunson has always had a fiery 3 minutes in him and I don't know how the often timid hermansson would react to a blonde Brunson bum rush this fight could turn out a lot like the thiago Santos fight for Jack but I am banking on the hermansson staying calm and and coasting for the first round or round and a half before before utilitsing his size to prove who the best wrestler in the division is I think Brunson will start to either and give up bad positions I'd expect a 3rd or 4tj round finish from jack leaning TKO but wouldn't be shocked by a sub
