Perfect example of the risk of prebetting when you have livebet options. Thompson was +500 on one of my books (yes they're really loose and bad at it) in rd 2 and the only reason I didn't jump on it is I already had money on Holland from before the fight started and I don't like backing both sides generally.

Ofc an early KO is kinda the opposite and is a risk of NOT betting before a fight starts.

Even if Holland decided to try and grapple, he’s not a grappler. He’s no Belal, I don’t think he would’ve won this regardless. Maybe he could’ve stayed on top when he got the first takedown, but after that I think WB would’ve eventually gotten up and the fight would’ve played out the same. People forget that WB has pretty good takedown defense

Apex Center was a big thing during the lockdown and much of 2021-22, but the UFC needs to get back to doing all of its crowd events. This Main Event was really exciting and without crowd the fight probably wouldn't have had the 70% show that it was.

I can’t believe people actually thought holland would beat Thompson 😂..theirs levels and holland has been no where near the level wonderboy has shown through out his career..anyone who tries and stand with him in a striking match good luck because their not winning that..only guys beating him is elite grapplers or else he is just going to pick his opponent apart like he showed again tonight.

I think people forget Wonderboy is a black belt in Japanese Jiu jitsu and a brown belt in BJJ under Machado. Relatives or not. In fact they will be more demanding in relatives from my experience.

Wonderboy is not lost on the ground by any means.

Wasn’t willing to throw the right so any combo with the right was removed. A lot of kicks left his game after that. I like Holland but this was his chance to crack the top 10 and it was very winnable. Sometimes you got to stop clowning and having fun and just win the damn thing. Also should have thrown more elbows. Thompson looked good but his durability is slowly going imo. Amazing timing still
