Sherk would have to chop off a leg to make featherweight.

LOL I'd be amazed to see Sherk at featherweight. How many people would he have to beat to get a LW title shot?

Wow my memory was a little hazy on sherk. Only losses are to Matt Hughes, GSP, Penn and Edgar. 36-4-1 with wins over Nick Diaz, Kenny Florian... Evan Dunham. Yeah I guess they can just throw him right into the mix. I hope BJ doesn't retire though, maybe he can come back to stop this short.

I would rather see Sherk against some new competition, not a re-match with BJ.  I'd like to see Sherk vs. Maynard, Guida, Miller, Bendo... there are a ton of top LW's for Sherk.

I wouldnt mind seeing Sherk/Miller or Sherk/Melendez. Those two fights would be sick.

Sherk vs Maynard, I would expect Gray to powerbomb Sean Sherk through the floor.

Sherk vs Siver would've been interesting, but Siver's moving down apparently.'

Sherk vs Melendez would be good too.

I think Sherk vs Maynard would be very close.

Sherk would ragdoll Siver.

Maynard would absolutely dominate Sean Sherk. He's fought once in 2 and a half years and that was a beatin from Evan Dunham who its been realized since was not as good of a prospect as originally thought.

Styles make fights though.  Sherk could match Maynard's wrestling, and while Maynard is a little better of a striker, Sherk has a great chin.  I don't think Maynard would stop him.

I wish he fought more often nowadays. He looked great against Dunham (although that decision was HORRIBLE) who is very good. There are still a lot of lightweights that he can beat.

I would like to see Sherk back as well he is still very dangerous or at least he was the last time we saw him. I know he wanted to be injury free before returning and he wanted good fights because he's too old to waste his time with small fights.

Small fights = small money. Sherk still has the potential be a contender, but i don't see him beating guys like Ben Henderson, Grey Maynard, or Frankie in a rematch.

I would love to see Sherk fight Guida or Jim Miller. i think Sherk would beat Guida but loss to Miller.
