Malkoun is actually decent, but I hate his fighting style, and he's not that marketable, so I'm hoping that Maximov wins. Although Maximov has basically the same style as Malkoun, he has more of a swagger and personality that is marketable

I rewatched some of Martinez and Swanson's recent fights.  They both can fall victim to each other's strengths.  Cub has the boxing to knockout Martinez with the same combination that Davey Grant did while Martinez has great kicks much like Chikadze who knocked Swanson out with a perfect liver kick.

I'm just trying to see if taking Cub Swanson at those odds would be worth it?

I think there's some great value on this card - on paper some well matched fights but there's some guys with clear practical advantages.

Malkoun has a chance to really put a beating on Maximov, if he's stuffing Maximov TDs he'll absolutely pummel him and I think he's a dog so I think Maximov will exert too much early and could well be stopped round 3.

Jordan Wright is very much the MW Chase Hooper for me, he's techically skilled but dude is not built for fighting. You've got no business being in the UFC losing to Jordan Wright. I'm not sold on Dusko being UFC caliber but if you've got more than a couple UFC wins I will always fade Wright against you.

I rate Brandon Davis, he's Garbrandt-esque with some really educated striking, mixes his game up well but just garbage defense. He's there to be put away but I don't think Mana will be able to take advantage at this stage of his career, good opportunity for Davis to put the volume on Mana and seal up a decision.

I don't like the short turn around for D-Rod, Magny is just a problem that doesn't go away. If Magny takes him down and I expect to do so early and often D-Rod is going to have a long night. He doesn't have the fundamentals to keep Magny off him in a grappling exchange imo.

J Martinez should have Swanson all day. He's too quick, that's all there is to it. Swanson will put up resistance but I don't see him being able to do much here and likely takes a beating over 3 rounds - expecting a too tough for his own good performance here.

And last one a bit of a reach but in a world where Cirkunov avoids getting flatlined and puts Menifield on his back early he could easily catch a sub here. He shouldn't be the favourite and I don't know what the odds are but I expect some value there.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 7 of 11 Winners, 5 Perfect, 540 Points   |   Tied for 2029th

Grasso vs. Araujo
Alexa Grasso, DEC
Another week long break followed by another womens main event. Grasso has some pretty good boxing for wmma and has been recently subbing girls she's also proven her chin. Vivis good I would say the more physical of the 2 but she nearly got finished by Andrea Lee props to her for surviving but i didn't see a title contender in that fight. But I did in Grasso Vs Wood. Grasso 49-46 competitive fight but Grasso land more in every round. Vivi takes a round through clinch and landing bigger shots

Martinez vs. Swanson
Cub Swanson, TKO, R2
This was rough but i'll tell you why i picked cub. He's always been a small featherweight if he shrinks his body into bw form i dont forsee an issue. That being said Martinez is big for bw and has had alot of issues with the weight cut. The cut to 35 is going to be foreign for cub which may play a factor but we can only guess but we know for a fact that Martinez struggles with it he made it his last 2 times no problem tho so who knows. I believe cubs power will be shown and Martinez is gonna eat one and go down. 2nd rd right hook followed by ground and pound

Askarov vs. Royval
Askar Askarov, SUB, R2
I want Royval to win but he has very glaring holes on the feet and the ground. Askarov is too complete of a fighter to not take advantage. I see Royval breing scrappy the whole time and winning on the feet but Askarov gets takedowns which Royval gets up from. 2nd rd Royval trys some fancy **** and Askarov catches him with a right and finishes with a rnc. Askarov 2nd rd rnc

Cirkunov vs. Menifield
Alonzo Menifield, TKO, R1
Cirkunov got great grappling but Alonzo has pretty decent grappling aswell. No ones ever subbed Alonzo and if Cirkunov can't get the sub or atleast maintain control i see Alonzo taking him out very quick. 1st rd overhand to ground and pound tko

Magny vs. Rodriguez
Daniel Rodriguez, DEC
Magnys time in the top 15 is just about up. Magny can only win through cage holding or lay and prey. Drod has underrated grappling and has some submissions on his resume. i see this fight taking place on the feet and in the clinch Drod has slick boxing i see him touching magny with jabs leg kicks and eventually right hands throughout the fight. Magny might pull a round idk. 29-28 29-28 30-27 Drod

Rodriguez vs. Hughes
Piera Rodriguez, DEC
Sam Hughes is ****. The fact she wins fights is a testament to how bad wmma is. Piera is well rounded and I dont see a glaring cardio or grappling weakness in Pieras game so she should beat the **** out Sam. 30-27 Piera

Vergara vs. Taira
Tatsuro Taira, DEC
Vergara is a live dog hes the best opponent Taira has fought so far and with more experience against higher level guys. Taira was unable to finish Candelario so i dont think he can finish Vergara. But i see him outgrappling him to a decision Vergara might end up on top at some point and outland him on the feet and steal a round. Taira 30-27 30-27 29-28

Martinez vs. Davis
Mana Martinez, DEC
Low level fight. Scrappy fight but not much substance. One of them might rock or drop the other but its gonna look like a low level bw fight. Im going with Mana cuz hes younger that is all. Martinez 29-28

Jackson vs. Rodriguez
Pete Rodriguez, TKO, R1
Mike Jackson is ******* ****. Pete should bury him not that hes very good either but he comes hard in the first and comes to bang he'll bounce Jacksons head off the ground. 1st rd right hook ground and pound while Jackson stares up confused

Assunção vs. Henry
Victor Henry, TKO, R2
That assuncao chin is shot. Henry puts on a pace and breaks guys i see him doing that to Raphael and finishing him in the 2nd straight drop him he enters mount and finishes the job. Henry 2nd rd tko

Grasso has much better combinatorics and I think that in this match it is crucial. Combinations based on the jab, cushioning the blows, moving on the toes, keeping the distance, I think that Grasso has all that. Viviane has hard blows and her way to victory is accumulated damage. to have a break in the style of Marlon Vera, which I hope will not happen, because it is simply much more difficult to do that in women's mma, but if anyone can do it, it is certainly Viviane. I expect a pure stand up fight in which Grasso will still win.

Sweet parlay. Looking for that clank clank Rodriguez probably looking at Mike Jackson like a hot meal but the mfer is an agent of chaos. He just cannot be in a normal fight. No doubt something completely whack happens and Rodriguez dislocates his shoulder or some ****.

This is why AyyLame is a meme. Most people expected Hill to lose. Sure. But AyyL is like she gonna lose, she gonna get cut blah blah.

No one likes a smartass. Especially ones who are wrong 90% of the time. I am a smartass too but I am right 90% of the time.

Actually he's right 68.9% of the time...which is more than you.  And if Hill would've lost that fight see more than likely would've been cut so I still don't see the issue here

You know you can see what promotions people pick right.  A large chunk of his picks are major promotions

And even the minor promotions have a similar average pick percentage
