Alonzo Menifield vs Misha Cirkunov
Siding with Alonzo here, I think Misha is way too irresponsible when trying to close distance and there is a certain archetype of fighter that Misha struggles with, one with power and a big frame. Alonzo has both, will come out patient and probably put him away early.

Brandon Royval vs Askar Askarov
Such a sick fight. Askarov is more position over submission and while he is definitely the more dominant wrestler and grappler, he isn't actually great at holding fighters down when it gets to the mat. I think Royval's scrambling ability will make this super tough and threaten at some points, I just think Askarov will be mat returning constantly and just trying to wear on Royval. Royval will be live in the 3rd if it gets there as Askar does fatigue, I think it might just be too late and Askarov will win a points decision in a competitive, exciting fight.

Cub Swanson vs Jonathan Martinez
What a weird move for Cub at this age. Taking on Martinez who has slick muay thai. Martinez has struggled against blitz combinations moving backwards, given he has such a lack of head movement, a high thai guard and backs up on a straight line. I think Cub has the ability to blitz in and use his combinations to worry Martinez. This is a huge wait to see what they look like at weigh-ins fight but assuming both are at there peak - I actually side with Swanson although I do think Martinez will have success targeting the legs early. Fun fight!

Alexa Grasso vs Viviane Araujo
Not sure how anyone could confidently pick Araujo over a hard 5 rounds. Think Grasso will be durable enough to wear the early onslaught and keep fighting even when she gets wrestled. I think as the fight goes on and Vivi's punches start to loop, Alexa will start to dominate on the feet with her technical boxing and worry Vivi late. Could see a late stoppage in 4/5 but going to take a decision.

Taira by submission is possible to happen but I wouldn't say it's definitely a lock

I find it funny that Wright claimed to be a "new man" that will win the title and isn't on the verge to be cut. Homie, you lost 2 in a row and have looked like a bottom 3 middleweight on the roster and definitely are on the verge of getting cut especially if you get knocked out or submitted

Wright is getting cut once he loses. I bet dusko shoots within the first 30 seconds and Wright will be lost on the ground

One thing I do have to say about this event is that it shows how disrespected the flyweights are still. Brandon Moreno and Kai-Kara France are two most profitable dudes in the UFC rn, and they still chose to pick the #5 and #6 women flyweights over the #4 and #5 male flyweights. Yes, Shevchenko is more popular than Moreno or Figgy, but Figgy, Moreno, and KKF are all more popular than every other flyweight other than Grasso and Shevchenko. Grasso has 470k IG followers (prolly cause she is relatively attractive and Mexican). But KKF has over 100k, Figgy has 420k, and Moreno has 1.6 mil which is more than any other female flyweight other than the 2 I stated.
