Could be, but I'm not so sure about that. There have been women that were on a four fight losing streak and they still kept them on the roster. Kowalkiewicz was even on a five fight losing streak.

Loopy has got Hill covered everywhere. I kinda feel bad for hill, she’s been takin tough fights and has built up a losing streak. Now she’s fighting someone who can strike and grapple well which seems to be Angela’s worst possible matchup

I agree. Her problem is that she takes too many short notice fights and her fights almost always goes to the judges. As we all know, you should never leave it in the hands of the judges. In my opinion she got screwed and won her fight against Lemos, which she also took on short notice. Now she can have a solid camp, but I don't think that will make any difference. Loopy is such a terrible match-up for her and I think we all know that Angie will be on her back most of this fight.

I’m high on Piera but was also intrigued watching Sam Hughes adopt the ‘grappling mauler’ approach (successfully) in her last fight. If this becomes her new strategy I am unsure as to whether or not Piera will play TDD, or just initiate offensive grappling herself as she in the 2nd & 3rd round vs. Hansen.
It could also be the case that she could only maul last time out because Nunes couldn’t TDD after gassing.

I know there are tons of folks who disparage WMMA, but slowly we find more up & comers entering the field who are raising the bar to standards that die hards can appreciate.

My perspective is that we get to witness this roster transition from mostly mediocre, to more skilled & potentially elite women fighters in the future, which in itself is an aspect to appreciate.
