Ok, there are a lot of things that need to be put into consideration. First of all, Canelo got his ass WHOOPED in that first fight and I have no idea how you could call that a draw. Canelo has looked good recently, but who knows what the Bivol fight could've done to him? GGG has looked decent himself, and has beaten a lot of young good boxers. And after all, age is just a number. Both fighters have looked freakishly good for their age recently, but I think GGG is the only one besides Floyd who truly has Canelo figured out. I'm taking GGG by upset SD.

G looked good against the Japanese guy he just fought but boxing records are hard to read.
Can looked terrbile getting mollested by a Russian dude who refused to ko him given ample chances.
Plenty of time to watch some tape and put names to faces but I will pick G again unless he misses weight or something.

i rewatched the last 2 fights between them and then watched GGG last fight and obviously jus watched canelo bite off way more than he can with bivol. one thing that stood out to me is that G looked like he lost a step vs murata. Murata gave him constant pressure early on and it took G a couple rounds to wake up, the power from G is still there but the legs and pace looked slower. I do think that G can summon it for one night, especially since hes been waiting a while for this, but idk if he can outbox canelo like he did in 1t fight. I do thnk G is witty and experienced enough to avoid getting stopped but after murata tagged him up early i can see canelo landing big shots.
I hate when ppl think canelo is above boxing, he plays the game jus like the rest of em, lets fight the biggest name that presents the lowest risk of losing. waiting out G til he got old is part of the game. after G he fought an old Kovalev, a skinny callum smith who looks good at 175 now, then saunders and caleb plant. ill give em credit for beating plant but thats it his resume dont impress me. and vs bivol he looked jelly. i think canelo would get tagged up by benavidez too hes avoiding him.
best bet might be over 10.5 rounds or for fight to go distance, i dont think G or canelo have ever been dropped. It wouldnt shock me if canelo waited G out jus for that reason, so he can get a stoppage and everyone forgets how close the first 2 fights were but i dnt think i can bet that with much confidence.
so its probably golden goose by decision which sucks but its GGG vs Canelo, adalaide byrd, the WBC and powers that be! let me kno what yall think
