Martinez vs. Morales

This fight makes me proud to be American born Latino. These guys have heart. 

It’s sad these two guys are going at it and Felder and Cormier are chatting it up their own experiences. They even missed the big right hand landed by Medic if it wasn’t for the pro Anik.

Medic is must see TV. 

This man is impressive. His striking is on another level, but his experience is what sets him apart. Also its obvious he has worked on his grappling, which demonstrates his strength. 2 KOs after an exciting DWCS fight, amazing way to start his UFC career.

That was his 22nd MMA victory and Daniel Cormier basically called him just a kickboxer when he was grappling. 22 victories ironically ties Chidi with Cormier. Chidi's first MMA fight was in 2007, before Cormier had made his MMA debut. Now the same way no one would argue that Chidi is a better MMA fighter, no one would argue DC was just a wrestler after 22 victories in the cage. Very sad commentary by DC.

I really don't know who won the fight, but I doubt that Vieira secured a title shot with that win. I think it should be Pennington vs. Vieira in a #1 contender fight. After the 4 straight victories and everything Pennington has overcome, she deserves a title shot already.

After rewatching the fight, it was the neck crank in the second round that won her the fight.
