I agree half the roster is dwcs fighters and to me that's not a good thing. If they actually went round the regionals and picked deserving fighters and not just people on Danas whims we would have seen a better roster and less trash fights in my opinion. You don't have to agree with me it's just my view

@split I mean, they do scout the regionals and bring in quality fighters. If there’s one who really stands out who isn’t signed, they either have visa issues or the ufc doesn’t want them for whatever reason. The whole point of dwcs is signing prospects who can be developed into contenders

Like I feel like people just get confused. The ufc ready fighters get signed to the roster straight up, dwcs is a pipeline for promising up and comers who then get built up in the ufc. That’s why so many lose their debuts right away because they might not be ready

Unless they get really good coaches, I think they should do away with TUF and have DWCS be the only ufc pipeline outside of feeder orgs

That's how the show started Ayy, but it's turned into something else. Finish or bust. Not the best recipe for success in the UFC. That's what I am trying to say. The show has turned into a different beast.

I mean it has in that aspect but it’s still producing great talent. Just look at least season; jailton almeida, Lucas almeida, jack della, Javid basharat, Chidi njokuani, and Michael morales are all very promising fighters. Not to mention murzakanov, Maheshate, Brito, borschev (even tho he has not ground game) are all looking like they could develop into better figbters. How you win a contract has changed but it’s still producing good talent. Numbers wise it’s never going to produce a contender every time. Even in the early days you have plenty of signees who are busts
