And don't get me wrong, They have matched up Cartwright so he will likely get the win again someone who does not have good takedown defence. But even then he could lose. Very over rated and not even surprised to see him as the betting under dog

I'm having a hard time picking Cowan after seeing she lost to a 1-2 fighter.

Cartwrights last performance was terrible but I still don’t get why he’s the betting underdog here.

How's everyone feel about Ribeiro vs Valenzuela? Neither guys looks that good on tape but Ribeiro seems way more aggressive

They are both awful. Ribieros striking looks like Juliana Penas but the one thing is he has a decent chin, good leg kicks, real power and good cardio for his style.
Ivan has horrible striking defence, average looking striking for a Muay Thai practitioner and slows down significantly after R2. If anything I am more impressed by his grappling than his striking and could win with that.
Overall both have no business being in the UFC which means Dana will probably give both a contract, which is great so we can fade them both hard when they are in the UFC.
I suspect Ribiero has a better chance of winning as he has more power and Ivans defence is awful especially when tired

Everyone is confused by this card including the bookies. The lines keep shifting both ways. Ridiculous but thats what happens when you get trash fighters trying to get in the back door to the UFC. In the meantime Bo Nikal is kicking his heels and will probably only get a developmental contract (check Anthony Smith the next UFC lackey with an opinion on Bo touting what is now obviously the company line about Bo) and Pogues is getting ready for his first UFC asswhooping. Smh at the DWCS and what a joke it is
Also agree that Cartwright will probably win, but he is pretty average

Bro I love dwcs, it’s very competitive for the contract and if we get any more cards like week 2 I’ll be happy

Don't get me wrong it's great to watch. But the level of talent that comes if is often abysmal

Pretty sure there is a ranked fighter in every weight class that came from the contender and others who in the future will be top 10

Bro DWCS is goated *** are you on about? They could certainly get better prospects sometimes (Azat Maksum instead of ******* Shannon Ross...) but I'm sure there's a reason for **** like that. 90% of the time the fights are between at least decent prospects who could have a good future. Also on paper this looks like the best card so far, but in practice it might be a bit stale. Ribovics and Johnson carrying lmao

@split yeah I get that but it’s a numbers game; not everyone is gonna be hood. There are TONS of good names that have came from dwcs. 40% of the roster is from dwcs weather they won, lost, or took a short notice call
