Can anyone imagine the absolute beating that 'The Leech', Jingliang Li would have given, to originally scheduled opponent Tony Ferguson, if they had fought at the Welterweight limit, after Ferguson's loss by Guillotine Choke to Nate Diaz this past weekend, it wouldn't have even been competitive in my opinion... Facts are, Tony Ferguson was unfortunately on the decline when he stepped into the cage with excellent striker, Justin Gaethje at Lightweight in 2020 for the Interim UFC Lightweight Title... The beating that Gaethje gave Tony that fight was so bad, he has never fully recovered in his ability to try and compete with the rest of the world in the UFC Cage... At that level, he his sadly officially washed up and his overall performance against a past his prime Nate Diaz in Nate's final contest with the UFC proves it... Put a fork in Tony, he's done!!! Conor McGregor will want him now for his comeback fight at Welterweight, you watch and Tony will accept, simply for the money involved in fighting Conor 🤔💯💪👊👊🥊👍🏼

I didn’t dislike the post you were referring to but I did the next 2

I don’t care if Ferguson is physically past his best and wanted to compete that’s fine but what bothers me is that Ferguson never used to care what was coming back at him. He used to wear his opponents down and break them eventually. In that fight Ferguson looked like he wasn’t willing to exchange. He’s throwing crazy spinning **** but making sure he’s way out of range before doing it so none of its landing. No point in being unorthodox if your not going to back it up yourself. He’s second guessing everything he does and if he can’t get that back he should retire.

Jingliag got robbed in so many ways this weekend 

Khamzat would have gassed if Holland made it out of that first round and I feel like he faked the glove touch before shooting. A bit ****** and I used to like him before this weekend. He needs to get humbled.

Cutelaba went with the wrong gameplan trying to grapple a bigger guy with better bjj. Walker is chinny and sbg has ruined him completely but this will keep him there.

First fight of the night was a sign of how the judges would be. Their betting on the underdogs mid fight.
As expected a bad ppv but I’m glad Diaz got to leave on a win and it gives him potential to make more money outside of it. Maybe Tony wanted that for him. Imo it’s the worst Ferguson performance I’ve ever seen he had no will in there or chip on his shoulder

if we're to believe Tony from the post-fight presser, then by his own words he basically started "sparring again" roughly a month after the Chandler KO. Even if his partners went easy on his, he still took unnecessary damage when he should have been resting for at least the next year (dude faceplanted into the ground from a 5'11ft free fall). Also it's like ever since that cable incident at FOX during 223 fight week, Tony has been slowly snowballing the end of his career. Each subsequent action he's taken since then has just made everything worse for him.
