Thought about making this thread and received enough support to make it. So here it is. Any discussions on football whether fixtures, results, transfers, of field controversy and anything else can be discussed here. Either this thread will blow up since it is the most popular sport or the sport with the biggest ******* in the world on a website about combat sports will go about as well as Jose Mourinho's third season. 

To start the discussion who do you lot have in the FA cup final? I'm leaning Chelsea since they've snapped there poor form with a win against Leeds and Liverpool seem very fatigued with their congested fixture list

tbf i actualy live just next to gosport and i have mates that play for them so it makes sense to support them. 
Because i don't support a prem team and have no horse in the race i'd say the teams i'm supporting are Liverpool cause my dad supports them and i don't wanna get beat, Brighton cause they're a god innovative squad who defy odds and palace because i like Viera and i like Stephen.

Yet another clueless American question.

I was wondering if you guys follow any other leagues besides the premier league? If so are there any other leagues worth following?

As an American who is way too in to soccer, I'd recommend keeping track of the Big 5.  The EPL, German Bundesliga, French Ligue 1, Italian Serie A, and Spanish La Liga.  Almost all of the best teams are in these 5 leagues.  I'd also recommend keeping track of the UEFA Champions League and maybe the Europa League as well.  These are major tournaments that run throughout the season where all the best teams in Europe play each other to see who is the overall best that year

It's improved from where it used to be but it's still not on the level of the European Leagues.  As an American it's probably not a bad watch but I personally refuse to since they don't have a promotion/relegation system with the US leagues.

I'd recommend the championship, mix of fallen giants and minnows and probably the most unpredictable league out there.

MLS can be entertaining but the quality of play is certainly not that of Europe, mainly cause of less domestic talent and wage caps. Plus to people here the league format is weird af, but it's probably more easy to understand for you. It's definitely getting better though and can be pretty entertaining

Ronaldo's situation kinda reminds me of Lebron's. Both huge stars wasting the last few years of their athletic primes on once great teams (admittedly I only know the basics of Man United's recent history so my comparison might not be perfect.)
