Whoa thats funny not seen anyone talk about Jiujitsu in ages, it is fairly useless in sport more for self defense or ******* people up not for quick subs.
Unless your calling GI BJJ traditional not Japanese JJ the ancient art taught to samurai.
2004-5 there was actually a guy using it in UFC, Japanese fellow didn't last long 170 class if memory serves.
The disciplines are based off different older forms "unsure of terminology" BJJ is Judo as I recall.
