Costa seems to be really focused on this w tho. He’s in great shape and has actually seemed to be taking things seriously this time. I expected him to act a fool and start trolling rockhold but surprisingly he didn’t talk much ****

Rockhold is just talking way too much smack in this one.  He seems all over the place emotionally.  Surprisingly, Costa is the more mature and relaxed yet focused fighter in this one.  I gotta take Costa by TKO.  I see some here saying he doesn't have 1 punch knockout power but he can unload a barrage of punches to drop Rockhold.  I think a Costa Round 1 & Round 2 by TKO at +100 money is a good bet.

'Prime Rockhold's' best wins are Weidman and the ghost of Lyoto Machida. Post the Rockhold loss Weidman has gone 2-4.

He was never that good, and I doubt he'd have ever beaten Costa.

Aldo vs. Dvalishvili
Merab Dvalishvili, DEC
I spent a good deal juggling this fight back and forth. Both fighters are looking to shake up the bantamweight rankings. Aldo has experienced a slight career resurgence since dropping down to 135 lbs. notching three notable wins against Rob Font, Pedro Munhoz, and Marlon Vera. It's impressive to see Aldo still relevant and fighting upper level competition after a pro career nearly two decades in the making. A win against Merab will defitnitely get him back in title contention. The main path to victory for Aldo would be to utilize his strong muay thai game to hurt Merab early. He has great takedown defense he can use to keep this fight standing and Merab has been clipped. Merab has a fast blitzing style that sometimes leaves him open to counters. With all that said, I still lean toward Merab to win this fight. I'm not neccessarily concerned about how successful Merab is with the takedowns, because I know he will have a relentless pursuit should wear on Aldo. Just that pace and pressure and the relentless pursuit of the takedown should stifle Aldo a bit and I see Merab sneaking out a fun and close decision here.

"What an excellent day for combat."

Pudilová vs. Wu
Lucie Pudilová, DEC
Not too much to break down here. Wu has a blitzing style that likes to bounce in and out with combos that are mostly harmless. I favor Pudilova in the striking with more volume and power. Pudilova has shown that she can be taken to the mat and controlled, but I don't see Wu being able to do that with relative ease. I see Pudilova able to keep it standing and out work Wu with strikes to earn a decision here.

Pedro vs. Hunsucker
Tyson Pedro, TKO, R1
A confusing fight for a couple reasons. Why are they giving Pedro another cupcake matchup, and why is it on a PPV card? Either way I don't see Hunsucker surviving the first round. I wanted to go a bit contrarian and pick Pedro by sub, but I feel he'll finish Hunsucker before the submission even presents itself.

Leonardo Santos cardio and age

Predictions: 4 of 12 Winners, 2 Perfect, 300 Points   |   Tied for 4207th

You guys made some statements about Santos cardio because of his age - I disapprove 100 %

Of course it trigerred me lol, because I'm 44 years old, but I have the best cardio and shape I ever had. The highest testorene level also.

Look at Romero, Glover Teixeira.

That's not about age. Thats about genetics, physical and mental health.

sorry about OT.

Altamirano vs. da Silva
Daniel da Silva, SUB, R2
is da Silva is smart he can bait Altamirano into fighting like he did in the last fight and abuse that.I don't trust Tapology that much 86% seems like a bit too much.

Tybura vs. Romanov
Alexandr Romanov, TKO, R2
Should be a good opportunity for Romanov to move up with a win against a serviceable veteran. Tybura has been with the UFC since 2016 and has fought some upper level competition. For Romanov, this will be a substantial step up from the likes of Sherman and Vanderaa. Tybura has wealth of experience, but his skill set is starting to regress. He can still land some power shot but with lower frequency. Meanwhile, Romanov seems to be the fighter on an upward trajectory. I look for Romanov to be able to secure some takedowns and get some good ground and pound off and get Tybura out of there in the 2nd.

Gordon vs. Santos
Jared Gordon, TKO, R3
If Gordon can weather the early storm of Santos power in the first, he should be able to get to some decent grappling exchanges and wear down Santos. he'll ground and pound and get him out of there.

Woodson vs. Saldaña
Sean Woodson, DEC
Should be a good scrap back and forth. I see Woodson with the sharper boxing technique, Saldana has a power advantage. Saldana seems to be most successful in closer exchanges. I see Woodson to be able to utilize some footwork and land some good strikes at long range. Should be close one but I see Woodson coming out on top.

Fletcher vs. Loosa
Ange Loosa, DEC
I don't have much faith in the underdogs on this card so I might as well go with this one. Feels more like a Pick 'Em fight to me. Both fighters are have raw talent but still need to develop. I would see Fletcher as the better overall athlete. I find Loosa to land the better striking. Fletcher has some decent wrestling for a fighter without a wrestling backround. Fletcher has some unique and explosive striking ability but I see Loosa with the better accuracy and volume. If Loosa can keep this fight in the middle of the cage and away from grappling pressure from Fletcher, then I can see him out pointing him in a close decision.

I just see Albazi better everywhere here in this fight. Solid grappling and better striker. Should be able to use a strong top game pressure and wear out Figueiredo and find the back sink in a choke.
