Okay so UFC basically confirmed they don't give a **** about UFC 279. A lot of the bum jobber fights are moved to the main card and Chandler vs Poirier isn't gonna be on it. Lol **** that card

I think he more than proved that vs burns. When he fought, he was the only person anyone would talk about in the card. He was all the promo, in every hype video, every comment I saw was can’t wait for Khamzat. I know the main and co main were bigger but he was the man that fight week. They’re trying to turn him into the star that can headline ppvs, like Dustin or Jorge or mcgregor

Creating leagues for each subcontinent and **** like that is dumb imo. The only way i see it working is if the playoffs are like the winners of each league, that way the best still fight the best instead of having like 4 different champions boxing style

I just think they should do an NFL thing, each division has a champion based on the current league format, then the divisions winner and maybe some widlcard guys to keep it interesting go in to the playoffs, with lets say the US champion fighting the canadian champion while the European champion fights the middle eastern one. Then at the end you have the two best fight for the world championship to unify it.

See that would be sick. I hope they can do that. That would be a genius marketing tool to popularize mma in the US as well because Americans can recognize the playoff format and understand it better than just watching mma fights

Any word on anymore DWCS signings? It seems that news on that front has kind of stalled out the last few weeks.
@Ayy Agreed on PFL. The semis are actually decent and then they have prospects that I'm excited to see like Ditcheva, Taken and Nunes.

I haven’t heard anything; I’m sure as weeks 8-10 get closer we will have more guys announced + they sometimes give guys like Caio a second chance. I’d guarantee we see Farid rebooked later this season too

Also we may see a couple tuf guys from this season get on dwcs, like they did with raposo. None are very good but I could still see a couple like heiderman or bartling getting on the show
