Fury fc announced they have signed Anthony Cassar to their lhw division. Cassar is a friend and teammate of Bo nickal. He also was an ncaa world champion & all American at penn state. He has had a lot of trouble getting fights (no surprise) but I imagine a few wins and he’s looking at a dwcs shot

Gomis vs Almeida is cancelled too. I hope they find a replacement for at least one of those fights. This card seemed like one of the best card of the year but slowly becomes one of the worst due to so many fight cancellations.

Lowkey thought that matchup between Gomis and Almeida was too soon. Almeida is a decent prospect and needs to get a bounce back win before going up against someone on a roll like Gomis. He might've even been cut if he lost that fight which would've been a tragedy

I remember allen said he didn’t want to fight dolidze at the date the ufc offered. Funny enough, he said he wanted to fight up but I guess either ufc didn’t want him to or nobody is available 

Also roman signing to fight in nov doesn’t help either

Didn't he also said he wanted a title eliminator that's one the reasons he declined the fight.

Surprised they didn't trie him vs Hermansson again.

I guess they are trying to push both Allen and Craig. Craig looked amazing in his last fight, but I think he's more of a weight bully now than anything. He was already competitive at LHW, but he was just a little too small to take the power of some of the bigger dudes in the division. I think Allen will be able to manage the grappling and pick Craig apart since he's a top 4 BJJ guy in the division at this point. Craig will probably be able to stay in it for at least 4 rounds unless his chin is really that shot tho. I have a feeling Allen is going to be more of a heel for his career now after what he tweeted last week
