Got another good “hidden” prospect for you guys 

Eduardo Penha faces a big step up on lfa 148. Now, why is a 1-0 guy fighting a 3-0 guy with 7 amateur fights? Well, that is likely due to the fact that Penha is not your average 1-0 guy. First, we’ll start with his wrestling background. Penha wasn’t your elite ncaa champion, but he had a lot of experience in college. He started off at JUCO, being a 1x all American and finishing 3rd place at nationals. After this, he transferred to St. Cloud state and then Colorado mesa unjversity. Now, these aren’t really crazy accomplishments but, having this wrestling background compliments the best part of his game, his bjj. Now, Penha is not your average bjj practitioner either, as his father is the legendary Sergio Penha (the bjj followers will know how big a deal Sergio Penha is). Eduardo may not have the grandiose accomplishments his father has, but man does his bjj look good. In his pro debut, he showed that he is just a different level on the ground: effortless transitions to mount, great takedowns, scrambled effortlessly, and topped it off with a kimura using his own legs while in a back crucifix. Penha is facing a massive step up, but from what I’ve seen I really think he has the grappling to pull it off. He really stands out to me at just 1-0

Good replacement, Saaiman is gonna finish him tho

Yeah koslow is too green. Solid grappler but not sure he’s ready for the ufc yet. Happy to see him get a shot. Good experience for saaiman too he’s really talented but green. I thought Lawrence was gonna destroy him

No opponent announced yet but rinat Fakhredinov already has a replacement opponent. Will be announced soon 

Also, JDM said the ufc is working on him vs the Leech for ufc 284. As a big leech fan I really hope that doesn’t happen🤣🤣

Aljo confirmed the cejudo fight is next and they are targeting March for that fight

Ontario gambling commission has banned all bookies from taking bets on ufc. Citing the recent issues surrounding ufc betting as the main concern. Very weird in their part and doesn’t help the fact that ufc wanted to go to Canada next year lol

I have not. Seeing tweets from Canadians about this situation, it seems like a really really bad deal for the UFC. they're gonna have to get reinstated in canada asap before other places follow suit. hearing the rest of canada could also ban ufc betting 

Albert duraev is out against oleksejczuk. Oleksejczuk is gonna get another opponent. 

They should do Oleksejczuk vs Njokuani, Petrosyan or Brundage/Vieira whoever was the one that didn't pullout of their fight

Chidi vs michal would be an insane fight 

fs it's the one I wanna see the most but I feel Njokuani wont take it cos it's a risky fight and he definitely still has title aspirations
