Instead of spamming the boards everytime I see some cool news, I’ll post it here. I’ll also keep track of prospects I like, new signings to ufc/dwcs/Bellator/etc.

Krylov x Spann is a great fight ! 

Krylov's style is so fun to watch. I picked him against Oezdemir but I was not confident at all. In this one, I'll be more confident in him I guess. 

Spann has a lot of power and can sub him if it goes to the ground though. 

Sterling is awesome because he annoys the whole MMA community, I find it funny how pissed people get, it just a excellent avenue for trolling, I didn’t even say much and got 5 downvotes for saying it

For anyone who didn’t catch Uwc tonight, a lot of good prospects on the card won. Chairez and barez easily dismantled their opponents, but they were cans so not really that impressive. Good to see them winning tho. What really impressed me was Adrian luna martinelli. He has shown flashes of talent but faced absolutely abysmal competition. In this fjgbt, he was fighting Donny matos, who isn’t great but a massive step up compared to what he’s been facing. Martjnelli passed with flying colors and tapped him out in one round. I’ve always thought he was better than his brother but this performance def proved that for me. Excited to see what he does next

wait, nvm looks like matos pulled put. he fought another bum with a record of 2-4. I take back what I said, not impressed. he really needs to fight someone good

Yeah his record means nothing. I think Adrian is the better of the two. Neither can strike very well but I’m more impressed with Adrian’s ground game 

Carlston Harris called out Ange loosa for ufc brazil. Not even in the works but I would love to see that fight

Also I wonder why they haven’t booked fights for their new Brazilian signees, amorim and Fernandes. Both are Brazilian and very talented female prospects. Seems weird they wouldn’t want to showcase them in the prelims of 283

@Ayy not just them but there is still a large portion of contender series fighters unhooked. I would think they would want to get them in the mix right away especially guys like Aliskerov or the 6-7 other exciting Brazilians they signed.

Yeah true but I feel like the ones that get signed directly to the roster they would want to prioritize. Dwcs guys they can just debut whenever. Also for aliskerov I have a weird feeling he’s gonna sit on the shelf forever. The Russians never fight as much as you want them to 

Not really news, but I just found out that shara bullet has been a sparring partner for vettori and till over at tiger Muay Thai. Such a random duo but cool to see shara is sparring with ufc middleweights 

Eldar Eldarov is back and Will defend his Brave Super Welterweight tittle against Denis Maher on December 12th

That’s good to see he’s back. I thought eldar was done fighting since he’s having so much success coaching at KHK Bahrain 

Nate Diaz has been deleted from the UFC ranking pools. He may be out from the UFC.

He is. His contract was up and he didn’t want to resign

If Nate is out of the pool I wonder if that means the UFC told him they will decline the option to match offers in his contract

Was looking at the upcoming ikon fc card (which by the way, is absolutely stacked) and I discovered a “hidden” prospect that I wasn’t really aware of; Anthony Cassar. On paper it just looks like a 0-0 guy making his debut against a jobber (which it is) but Anthony cassant is not just any 0-0 guy, he is a former collegiate wrestler, and a good one at that. He wrestled at penn state and won the NCAA tournament along with the big 12 tournament that year. For the non-Americans, penn state is one of the greatest wrestling programs of all time (I’m sure some of you knew that from bo nickal), so cassant has been wrestling at the highest level. He also attempted to join the Olympics twice. First in 2019, where he beat his first two opponents but injured his shoulder in the process and couldn’t continue. He then tried again in 2020 but the pandemic prevented that. Since he got screwed out of the Olympics twice, he’s decided to turn to mma. Really looking forward to his debut the most on that card. Sadly, he is fighting a jobber so it’s gonna be a one sided mismatch but at least he’s getting mma experience
