Feel like they offered a **** ton and he knows the ufc will just feed him to another up and comer in his next fight so he’s taking the money for when he retires and feel like if he wins in 2023 he may retire or even if he loses. Feel like this is just to secure his life outside MMA for the future

I agree with Reynolds but I don’t think Burgos or Santos are stars Santos realistically is like 3 fights from retirement and Burgos although he beats everyone but I’d give loughnane a shot (cos he’s English) I think the best he’s done is co main a fight night. Feel like they’d better going after a bigger draw but maybe those guys don’t want to go to the pfl but I do like that this gives ufc fighters more options and better money to fight and stops the monopoly Dana has

Good move by Santos. He's got a family now and knows ufc will attempt to use him as a stepping stone. This way he can finish his career with more wins and collect some cash for his new baby.

Also, Mason jones is still decent and can get better. He can build himself back up and come back better or go to PFL.

Which makes it sound like they want him getting more regional experience and then potentially resigning later. He is someone I wouldn’t mind going to pfl tho. I also wouldn’t mind him back in the ufc

It’s not listed on tapology yet, but Bigfoot silva fights yet again this Saturday. This time, he doesn’t draw a prospect, but kickboxing legend zabit samedov. This is totally gonna be fair and totally not end with Bigfoot getting floored 😃

Thats sadistic... It says Bigfoot has made close to 1 million dollars in his career, guessing it could be over that but not registered... Surely thats enough to live on in Brazil while setting up some other income streams, maybe some 1 or 2 bed apartment rentals, start a gym I dunno... He is gonna ruin his health long term with all this damage

I genuinely believe that virtually every MMA fighter will develop life-ending or critically life-debilitating CTE and other brain-damage issues.

It's such malpractice to continue to let Bigfoot fight. He was done years ago, every person in his camp allowing this should be ashamed of themselves and any promotion still booking him should never see the light of day.

the question is....is he a good grappler? Like I can't imagine those competitions pay anything well at all if you don't win. Maybe the rest of the money is made in sponsorships??
