IDK Cheese, Curtis' body type definitely fits better at WW but think about how many great wrestlers/BJJ guys there are at 170 who would destroy him on the ground. I was hoping he'd drop down initially too but after thinking about it more MW may be best for him because there's way more strikers to match him against

I just saw the ufc post him and it reminded me that Roman bravo young trains with Dominick Cruz and is signed to the same management agency. He’s also an elite college wrestler and I think we could see him transition to mma and join the ufc in the near future

*** why?! 3 month turnaround for Oliveira? I doubt he takes much damage in the Islam fight (unless he loses in which case he wouldn't go to Brazil anyway), Islam's not much of a striker, much less a power/damaging one, but why tf are they going back so soon anyway?! I agree w/ @DrChaotic. Seems like a missed money making opportunity IMO. Charles has to be the most popular Brazilian currently on the roster; headlining a Rio card in January with anyone else is silly. I doubt Charles will take a 3 month turnaround fight unless they give him McGregor, which I'm inclined to think that they won't.

Yeah I've heard that even casuals/non MMA fans know Oliveira in Brazil. I'm sure there's gonna be another worthy fight headlining (Figgy Moreno 4 is not it tbh, and I love Moreno) but it seems dumb af and very disrespectful to go to Brazil without Olives when he's been asking for months to defend his title there. UFC went "whoops we're going 3 months after you fight looks like you can't go sorrrrry"

Also apart from the fact that it seems disrespectful to the champ, it's stupid money wise. No one will be a bigger draw than him in Brazil and I mean that. **** maybe even McGregor himself wouldn't draw more in that country
