Unexpected finish to start the card! Nice comeback by Shanna Young. She looked really rocked after taking that knee in the first round.

Breeden vs. Levy

Amazing second fight! Levy proved he was in great shape and was going to go the 15 minutes. He was relentless in the third round trying to get the takedown and caught Breeden with a couple hard shots. 

After surviving the second round, Breeden dominated the third in my opinion. He went to the body from the start. Can't wait to see who he gets now, this was a better showing after a rough debut.

Green vs. Lainesse

3/3 great fights to start the card! 

I loved seeing Gabe Green smile at the end of first. He took everything Lainesse had to give him and was still there. Then he survived the knockdown to get the knockout in the same round! Great fight, one of the best of the year. Green has a chin!

Romanov vs. Sherman

Quick work for Romanov, who has already proven to be dangerous in a shallow heavyweight division. Importantly to me he looked like he is in better shape, which makes him even more dangerous and durable. 

For Sherman, hopefully he gets another fight after filling in short notice against a fighter not many want to face.

Elkins vs. Connelly

******* amazing to see Elkins win another fight. How could we have expected anything less from these two guys. “Warrior spirit” is correct for both guys! 

If the UFC doesn’t give him a new contract, I hope another promotion signs Elkins.

Arlovski vs. Collier

One of the best fights of the year! Fights like these, the UFC should truly consider giving both guys winning checks. There was no stoppage, and it was a split decision. Both guys gave it everything. Who wouldn't want to see that run back. Both guys deserve two checks!

Chito vs. Font

Chito is a savage. Brutal fight! He is a killer! I'm so happy to see him after the fight with his family! No one wants to see Chito in the octagon right now.

And Rob Font is a dog! Even though this is a major setback, I believe few other fighters will beat him if he fights like that again.

Listening to Vera post-fight interview solidifies that Chito is a mean ************. He didn't mind not finishing Font because he wanted to punish him. Very impressive first main event and first 5-round fight for Vera.

Vera against anyone in the top 10 would be an amazing fight at this point. I'm glad to see Chito at the top of the UFC, he has always been a very entertaining fighter and has earned his way as much as anyone!

Best card in Vegas so far in 2022

I was looking at all the events of the UFC this year and I believe this might have been the best card to take place in Vegas this year. Chito deserves a top ranked guy next!

To end the third round, that was just mean by Vera to post up for about 4 seconds before dropping a vicious precise elbow!
