Hope you guys jumped on the Nate Jennerman pick I suggested in PFL. Childers looked complete **** at the weigh in and was about half his size.

Odds were ridiculous at 3:1.

Just made a grand to start off the weekend. Good start and making me rethink getting back in to MMA betting.

Silvera just won too. That's another $300. I have a feeling this is going to be a good weekend.

Deron Winn comes from a tough background. Both his father and brother have had addiction issues.

I've always rooted for Winn for whatever reason. I guess it's interesting to see a guy who's 5'6" at MW/LHW find some success at those weight classes. He had the tools with his wrestling background and he does have some power in his hands, but his technique seems unrefined. He relies on haymakers if the takedown doesn't pan out.

Anyways, it's a good match up, but expect both to gas halfway through out. Hawes by decision.

Coming from a guy who tried to tell everyone that Held beat Schulte via jab this evening, your opinion just isn't high on my list.

Has deron even knocked down someone in the ufc?

He fought Spicely and Meerschaert, 2 notoriously chinny grapplers. Most of the fight was contested on the feet.

He didn't hurt either of them once. And he did throw overhands. Just the dude don't have power.

Next time explain it more, because you didn't back it up with anything.

@JReynolds47

First of all, I don't need to explain anything more because it's obvious you don't know what you're talking about.

Winn's first 6 fights have shown he has power. It's there. First four fights by KO/TKO, hit Tom Lawlor with huge shots and won an easy UD, and you obviously you didn't watch the Spicely fight because he hit him with big shots throughout, even in the first minute of the fight.

Has he fallen off? I think so. I don't think he has the right camp to maintain his weight cut. With that said, the first round against Hawes will be fun regardless.

So your argument is that since he didn't knock out "chinny" guys means he has no power?

Kevin Holland and Eryk Anders didn't knock out Meerschardt. Those guys must have no power!

You argued that Held beat Schulte because he outstruck him via jabs. Do you understand what you're watching?

Once again, I expect Hawes to win but I'm looking forward to the first round of the fight.

@el222

He argued that Held beat Schulte this evening because he believes Held outstruck him with his jab. I didn't see that one bit. In fact, the fight was quite decisive for Schulte. If he believes that than I doubt his debates on any form of striking, including his opinion on what power is. Hence the debate.
