I'm glad to see Bobby King get another fight with Bellator. Hopefully they signed him to more than a one-fight deal. His last two fights have been highly impressive. 

First King beat Gozali so bad in the first round, that "The King" couldn't answer the bell for the second round.

Then he beat his fellow Hawaiian, Diggs, very convincingly.

Facing another fighter who has won his last two Bellator fights, this should be a great fight.

Josh Quinlan was a very intriguing DWCS signee from last year and I have been anticipating his debut. They are giving him a tough test in Jason Witt, who does not only have UFC experience, but also more experience overall than Quinlan. Very nice matchup that should tell us which direction each career will go. 

The man who hypes up the weigh-ins for Bellator makes it 100x better.

Bert Watson hypes up the weigh-ins and separates the fighters. He is the man. 

It seems like everyone knows how the main card fights will go tonight. 

Interestingly, as of this morning, Pettis has the lowest percentage of picks by Tap users out of all the projected main card winners. 

Even though I like Chris Wade and he looks like the favorite to win this season, I would say his opponent has the best chance of winning out of the underdogs. And that just says what I think Bochniak is capable of and not that Wade is bad. 

8 of the 22 fighters on the card tonight have UFC experience. 2 more lost on the Contender Series.

Insane that Klidson Abreu missed his chance at $1 million. Head to head record should always be the number one tiebreaker. Even more he proved in his 2 fights to be a more well rounded fighter than Ferreira. 

Yep.  Same number of points, and you beat the guy you're tied with...  PFL is making it clear they want finishers above all else.

That’s a good point. There is value for the promotion in elevating fighters who are exciting and get finishes. 

Jeff Molina should get the fight against Cody Durden. Molina is on a three fight winning streak so I think he might get his wish in this instance. 

Both fighters bring all out action and with both guys calling each other out there is some heat too. I love this fight for both guys.

I believe Frey beat Demopolous. I hope she gets another fight, she really looked much improved. Blowing her nose before the third might have cost her the fight. 

I’m hoping these Americans have a clean sweep this weekend. It would be amazing if Jared Cannonier, Max Holloway and Jalin Turner all got the upset! All three were made into fighters in very different places. Alaska, Hawaii and California but I would say they are very good representation of America.  

I’m hoping two other Americans can earn victories, Brad Tavares and Gabe Green. 

As always the PFL playoffs are going to be exciting!

However I hope they book some of the guys who didn’t qualify for the playoffs. For example Josh Silveira vs. Cory Hendricks is a fight I would like to see. Or any fight including Manfio, Schulte, Stephens, or Collard. Juan Adams would be a cool to see too. Boston Salmon vs. Alejandro Flores would be nice. 

I know a few of these guys have fought 2 times already but I like fighters who stay active. 

I have to say I don’t believe the narrative that O’Malley started that he cherry picks. 

No one cherry picks to fight Chito Vera. Especially back then. 

I agree with Holloway that they should be the main event. However on YouTube alone Holloway and Volkanovski combined don’t reach half the subscribers as Adesanya’s 800k.

Because it’s a Sean Strickland fight week, I always like to rewatch three of my favorite fights:

Strickland vs. Usman
Strickland vs. Elizeo
Strickland vs. Santiago

In my opinion because of his style, he made a great choice in moving up to MW.
